Backing San Antonio doesn’t mean every Portland player has to have a quiet night. Deni Avdija grabbed nine rebounds in each of the Trail Blazers’ two losses this season. Scoot Henderson had no assists in either. Those are very different contributions to consider beside a Spurs win.
These Spurs parlay picks use Portland’s longer loss history to put those two games in context. Side & Support compares Avdija’s rebounding and Henderson’s passing in Blazers defeats with their all-game records over the same period. You can decide whether the lower rebound target or the assist under better fits your view of San Antonio beating Portland.
Spurs parlay picks: two ways to look at Portland
Both rows cover regular-season appearances with Portland since October 1, 2025, including this season. Portland has lost only twice this season, so those recent results alone tell us little. The player sections also compare the recent roles and misses. Individual DraftKings prices are November 7 snapshots and can change.
| Player & prop | Odds | Portland losses | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deni Avdija 5+ rebounds |
−463 | 93.9% 31 of 33 POR losses |
83.8% 62 of 74 appearances |
| Scoot Henderson Under 3.5 assists |
−132 | 85.7% 12 of 14 POR losses |
63.2% 24 of 38 appearances |
Deni Avdija 5+ rebounds (−463)
Avdija’s rebounding has often held up when Portland has lost. The two recent examples weren’t short appearances: he collected nine boards in thirty-two minutes against Memphis and another nine in thirty-nine minutes against the Lakers. You don’t have to expect his whole game to disappear to back San Antonio.
Five rebounds carries a heavy price, and the six-rebound offer at −232 is a tempting step up from −463. The longer loss record explains what you’re paying for. He grabbed at least six in twenty-five of thirty-three Portland defeats and fifty-one of seventy-four appearances overall. Lowering the target to five adds six of those losses. Although both targets cleared this season’s two defeats, that recent pair hides the difference between them.
Minutes haven’t always been enough. Avdija finished with four rebounds in thirty-four minutes against Charlotte and four in forty minutes against Denver in last season’s regular-season losses. This season’s wins also include four boards against the Lakers and three against Denver, leaving five rebounds at six of eight appearances overall.
Last spring’s playoff series against the Spurs adds a useful caution for this matchup. Avdija had four rebounds in one game while playing thirty minutes and three in the final game while playing thirty-two. Those playoff games are outside the regular-season table. The lower target has a substantial loss record, but even normal playing time hasn’t made it automatic.
Scoot Henderson under 3.5 assists (−132)
Henderson’s two games without an assist came in different roles: nineteen minutes off the bench against Memphis, then twenty-three minutes as a starter against the Lakers. The under has also held through his other recent starts. His last four assist totals are one, two, one and zero, including a thirty-one-minute appearance against Utah.
That’s more useful than relying entirely on those two Portland defeats. The longer table still contains only fourteen losses, though, and two brought enough passing to beat this under: five assists in twenty-nine minutes against Minnesota and four in twenty-three minutes against Charlotte. Those misses show he can create chances even when Portland loses.
His role deserves attention. Four of this season’s eight appearances came off the bench, and the last four have been starts. With Ja Morant listed out because of his hamstring injury, Henderson’s opportunity can change. He’s an expected, unconfirmed starter for this game, so the recent low totals shouldn’t be read as a fixed limit on his workload.
The assist under leaves Henderson’s scoring and rebounding out of the bet. His rebounds-plus-assists under 6.5 cost −136 and reached the same twelve of fourteen losses, with twenty-six of thirty-eight appearances overall. At −132, the assist under asks the narrower question: will he finish with fewer than four assists?

Decide how much cushion you want to buy
The big price decision is Avdija. Five rebounds includes substantially more past Portland losses than six, but −463 asks you to pay heavily for that room. You can pass on the rebounding leg and use Henderson’s passing angle if that better matches the game you expect.
Both options depend on Portland’s roles and opportunities, and a sportsbook may adjust related legs when pricing a parlay. Their separate records don’t give the probability or price of a combination, and you don’t need to take both.
