Buccaneers Parlay Picks vs. Bears: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Bucky Irving carried the ball 21, 24 and 27 times in Tampa Bay’s three wins this season, most recently running for 170 yards in the shutout of Atlanta. If you’re backing the Buccaneers in Chicago, a more modest 60-yard rushing request puts that workload in perspective.

There’s also room to consider a Bears receiver without changing your view of the winner. These Buccaneers parlay picks compare Irving in Tampa Bay wins with Rome Odunze’s catches in Chicago losses. Side & Support Parlay Plays puts those records beside each player’s all-game results, giving you two contributions to consider rather than a fixed parlay.

Buccaneers parlay picks: two ways to support a win

These records cover each player’s recorded rushing or receiving appearances with his current club across the 2025 and 2026 regular seasons. They include eight Tampa Bay wins for Irving and only five Chicago losses for Odunze; his playoff counterexamples are discussed below. Bucky Irving: 60+ rushing yards

Irving’s last two games brought 106 yards on 24 carries against Carolina and 170 on 27 against Atlanta. Earlier in the season, he ran for 165 on 21 carries in the win over Dallas. Those are productive running games behind the choice, though sixty asks for much less than another 100-yard night.

The 60-yard milestone cost −147. Dropping to fifty cost −263 and covered the same seven of eight Tampa Bay wins in the longer sample. It covered thirteen of eighteen appearances overall, one more than sixty, but it didn’t recover the winning miss: 37 yards on fourteen carries against Atlanta in last season’s opener.

Sixty-five yards was −114. That extra five yards would lose his 61-yard performance in a win over Arizona last season, reducing the record to six of eight wins and eight of eighteen appearances overall. Seventy yards paid +111 and would also remove his 66-yard win over the New York Jets, leaving five of eight wins and seven of eighteen appearances overall. The bigger payout comes with less room for a useful but unspectacular rushing night.

Carries alone don’t settle the yardage. Irving had nineteen attempts but only 46 yards in the recent loss to Pittsburgh, and fifteen for 46 against Minnesota. Even a busy afternoon can leave him short of sixty.

Last week’s offense was an extreme example: Baker Mayfield attempted just three passes and completed none against Atlanta. Emeka Egbuka is expected back from his foot injury, although he’s still listed as questionable. Irving’s case doesn’t require that unusual run-heavy balance to repeat; the lower rushing offer is a way to leave some room beneath his recent totals.

Rome Odunze: 3+ receptions

Odunze has caught three passes in each of Chicago’s two losses this season, but they were different kinds of games. He turned four targets into three catches against Minnesota. Against Green Bay, he needed nine targets to finish with the same three receptions. The catch total held up, while the efficiency didn’t.

Three receptions cost −194. Four paid +127, but it covered only three of the five regular-season losses and eight of twenty appearances overall in the longer sample. Both current-season defeats would fall short. Going down to two catches cost −640 and covered the same five losses and nineteen of twenty appearances overall, so you’d be paying a much heavier individual price for room that didn’t add another losing game.

Forty receiving yards was −178 and covered four of those five losses and fourteen of twenty appearances overall. Three catches covered all five losses and the same overall count of fourteen in twenty appearances. That makes the reception choice useful if you expect Odunze to remain involved without asking for a certain amount of yardage from those catches.

His latest games have provided more than three: four catches on five targets for 69 yards against New England, followed by four on six targets for 87 against Seattle. Both were Bears wins. Earlier, he had 52 yards against Carolina but only two receptions, showing why a productive yardage total doesn’t automatically cover the catch offer.

The five-loss regular-season record needs a clear limit. In each of Chicago’s two playoff games last winter, Odunze caught only two of six targets. That includes the loss to the Rams. Last season also included a zero-catch game on three targets against Cincinnati. He can miss three receptions with opportunities available, and a small perfect regular-season loss record doesn’t erase those games.

Workload on one side, involvement on the other

Irving’s rushing option fits a view of Tampa Bay getting useful work from its lead back. Odunze’s reception option leaves room for Chicago to lose while one of its receivers stays involved. Sixty rushing yards and three catches ask for different contributions; choose the one that fits your view of the game without assuming that separate historical records establish the chance of both happening together.
