Jets Parlay Picks vs. Canadiens: Side & Support Parlay Plays

At the same price for a point, would you take Kyle Connor or Mark Scheifele? Connor scored twice and added an assist in Winnipeg’s October win over Detroit. Scheifele went without a point in the same game.

DraftKings listed Winnipeg at +160 against Montreal. If you’re backing the Jets, both forwards are −195 for a point, so the choice comes down to which player you expect to get involved when Winnipeg scores.

Two Winnipeg point props at the same price

Both players appeared in the same 97 Winnipeg games across this season and last, including 39 wins. A goal or an assist clears either offer, so the comparison comes down to how often each player contributed and which role you expect to matter in Montreal.

Kyle Connor 1+ point (−195)

Connor recorded a point in 36 of 39 Winnipeg wins and 70 of 97 games overall. That’s the stronger record of the two at the same price. He’s projected on the left wing with Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi, and his two goals in the win over Colorado show how he can clear the target through finishing alone.

His current record is weaker. He has a point in three of four Jets wins and nine of 15 appearances overall. He went without a point in October’s 2–1 loss to Montreal and again in Sunday’s 7–0 loss to Carolina. He also went scoreless in a win over Pittsburgh, so a Jets win alone leaves room for a miss.

At −195, Connor’s longer record is the main case for the offer. If you expect Connor to get chances against Montreal, he can get there with a finish of his own or by setting up a teammate.

Mark Scheifele 1+ point (−195)

Scheifele recorded a point in 34 of 39 Winnipeg wins and 63 of 97 games overall. He had two assists in the win over Colorado, the same game in which Connor scored twice. A night where Scheifele does the creating can clear his point line without a goal of his own.

He recorded a point in two of four Jets wins this season and seven of 15 games overall. The Detroit win and the Pittsburgh win were the two misses. Scheifele also played 25:04 without a point in the first Montreal meeting. He has still found ways to contribute in defeats, including three assists against Tampa Bay, but the current win record gives you less support than Connor’s.

Since the price is the same, the case for Scheifele depends more on expecting Winnipeg’s offense to go through his playmaking. At the same price, you’re giving up some support from the shared history if you pick him over Connor.

Choose one route through Winnipeg’s top line

Connor has the higher rate at the same price. Scheifele offers another route if you expect him to set up Winnipeg’s chances. They’re projected to skate together and can both get credit on the same goal. One goal could clear both lines if one scores and the other sets him up.
