New Orleans managed only 91 points against Denver on Wednesday, yet Dejounte Murray still collected eight rebounds and five assists. That production offers a useful distinction for a Sacramento backer: a Kings win can fit alongside an active Pelicans point guard, without requiring Murray to deliver a big scoring night.
These Kings parlay picks pair that possibility with Zach LaVine’s lower scoring milestone. LaVine has scored at least 22 points in each of Sacramento’s first four games, all losses. His longer Kings record shows why 15+ points deserves a different look from asking him to reach 20.
The premise for this Side & Support edition is a hypothetical Sacramento win over New Orleans. Both teams enter 0–4, and the morning DraftKings game snapshot priced the Kings at +190. The two individual options below compare what has accompanied Kings wins or Pelicans losses; they do not establish the likelihood of tonight’s result or a combined parlay landing.
Options alongside a Kings win
Both records cover last season and this one with each player’s current club. LaVine has nine Sacramento wins in 43 appearances; Murray has 18 New Orleans appearances, beginning in February 2026, including 13 losses. Each all-game comparison covers the same period and club. The limited samples matter even where the loss record is perfect.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zach LaVine 15+ points |
−569 | 88.9% 8 of 9 Sacramento wins |
74.4% 32 of 43 Sacramento appearances |
| Dejounte Murray 10+ rebounds and assists |
−250 | 100.0% 13 of 13 New Orleans losses |
88.9% 16 of 18 New Orleans appearances |
These are individual DraftKings milestone prices from the October 29 morning snapshot. Each requires at least the displayed total; prices and available combinations can change.
Zach LaVine: 15+ points at −569
LaVine reached 15 points in eight of nine Sacramento wins (88.9%), compared with 32 of 43 Kings appearances (74.4%) overall. The current season has not supplied a Sacramento win to add to that first column. It has supplied four scoring performances above the requirement: 28, 22, 37 and 22 points.
The latest was a 22-point game in 31 minutes against San Antonio. Before that, he scored 37 in 40 minutes against Memphis and 22 in 39 minutes against Portland. He is listed at shooting guard in the expected lineup. That recent playing time and production make the modest scoring requirement relevant to his current role, even as the Kings have struggled to turn his scoring into wins.
The lone winning miss remains in the record: seven points in 32 minutes against Minnesota on November 24, 2025, Eastern time. He played regular minutes that night. A Sacramento victory therefore does not guarantee that LaVine supplies even this lower scoring total. The nine-win sample also gives each result considerable influence.
DraftKings’ actual 20+ points offer was much less expensive at −182, but it landed in only four of those nine Kings wins and 19 of 43 games overall. LaVine has cleared 20 in all four games this season, so the recent scoring is encouraging for that higher requirement; the longer team-win comparison is much less consistent.
The 15+ option buys a lower requirement at a steep price. It is worth comparing for readers who specifically want a modest LaVine contribution beside their Sacramento view, rather than treating −569 as an attractive return on its own. His recent scoring and the higher historical frequency explain the selection; they do not prove an edge at today’s price.
Dejounte Murray: 10+ rebounds and assists at −250
Murray combined for at least ten rebounds and assists in all 13 New Orleans losses in his matched sample, versus 16 of 18 Pelicans appearances (88.9%) overall. The sample’s recorded New Orleans games begin in February 2026. It does not pull in older Atlanta games to enlarge the record.
All four Pelicans games this season have been losses, and Murray’s combined totals were ten, twelve, twelve and thirteen. The latest thirteen came from eight rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes against Denver. In the earlier Denver meeting he had six of each in 35 minutes; against Utah, six of each in 30 minutes. Those different routes to the same total are the practical appeal of the combined market.
His ten points in Wednesday’s defeat also show why this option can fit a view that Sacramento wins without assuming Murray stops contributing. Rebounds and assists are separate from his points. He is listed at point guard in the expected lineup, while the four-game opening sample remains too small to settle tonight’s outcome.
There is also a new backcourt question: Jordan Poole left Wednesday’s game after seven minutes with an ankle injury and is listed day-to-day. His availability for this matchup remains unsettled, so the Pelicans’ recent guard rotation may change.
The two misses in the full 18-game record were combined totals of five and eight, both in New Orleans wins last season. They still belong in the baseline: a perfect 13-loss history is not a promise of another hit, and different opponents, teammates and game flow can change the opportunities available.
The assist-only alternative, 5+ at −294, reached its mark in eleven of thirteen losses and fourteen of eighteen games overall. Murray has five or more assists in all four games this season, but the combined 10+ option carried the less expensive −250 price and the more consistent longer loss record. It allows rebounds to make up for an assist total below five; it also needs enough production across those two categories to reach ten. These are alternatives to compare, not independent legs to stack on the same player.
Compare the cost of the lower requirement
Murray’s combined option has the stronger conditional record and the less expensive price of these two choices, with only 18 Pelicans games behind the comparison. LaVine’s 15+ points asks for less scoring than his recent performances have delivered, but its −569 price leaves little return for accepting another condition, and the Kings-win sample is only nine games.
Use the difference to decide which contribution actually fits your Sacramento view. There is no requirement to add both, and multiplying their individual historical rates would not measure their shared chance of success. The same matchup connects the outcomes, and a sportsbook can price those relationships into any offered combination.
