Luka Doncic had six assists and fifteen rebounds in the Lakers’ win over Toronto. At today’s lines, that would fall short of seven assists while comfortably clearing fifteen rebounds plus assists. That’s a useful choice to weigh if you’re backing Los Angeles against Portland: follow Doncic’s passing alone, or leave room for his work on the boards to help.
These Lakers parlay picks use Los Angeles wins to compare those two Doncic options and Ziaire Williams’ scoring. Each sits beside the player’s full current-season Lakers record. The samples are small—six winning appearances for Doncic and five for Williams—and the two Doncic offers are alternatives to weigh, rather than unrelated legs to automatically stack.

Luka Doncic: Seven assists or fifteen rebounds plus assists?
Doncic’s over-6.5 assists was −153 at DraftKings, while over-14.5 rebounds plus assists was −105. The combined offer gives you more profit on the same stake if it wins, but asks him to produce more across the two categories. Neither price follows directly from the identical winning-game records in the table.
Toronto is the clearest example of why you might prefer the combined route. Doncic finished with six assists and fifteen rebounds in that win, comfortably reaching fifteen combined. The Clippers win earlier in the season went the other way: seven assists were enough for the passing offer, but six rebounds left him at thirteen combined. The two choices have missed in different Lakers wins.
His latest win at Sacramento finished closer to both targets: seven assists and nine rebounds. He also had thirteen assists and seven rebounds against Miami. Those recent nights support either route, but the earlier Clippers game shows why adding rebounds isn’t simply extra coverage on the same bet—you need fifteen in total instead of seven assists.
The older Lakers record gives the assist option more support. Across last season and this one, in regular-season Lakers games, Doncic reached seven assists in 38 of 49 Los Angeles wins and 54 of 72 appearances overall. Fifteen rebounds plus assists occurred in 31 of those 49 wins and 43 of 72 appearances. Both older winning-game rates are lower than this season’s five of six, especially for the combined offer.
Portland has already provided another useful comparison. In the Lakers’ earlier loss to the Blazers, Doncic had nine assists but only five rebounds. That reached the assist target and fell one short of the combined target. If you prefer his passing, paying the heavier price avoids needing those extra boards; if you expect a substantial rebounding night too, the lighter combined price is the option to consider. The same assists count toward both, so taking both concentrates the bet on the same player’s production.
Ziaire Williams: Over 7.5 points
Williams gives you a lower scoring target at −105: eight points is enough. He’s scored between nine and fourteen in each of his six recorded Lakers appearances this season, including eleven in the earlier Portland loss. His scoring has held up across both results so far, rather than showing a special boost in wins.
The recent role is the part to watch. Williams started his first four recorded appearances, then came off the bench against Miami and Sacramento. He still scored nine in fifteen minutes against Miami and ten in twenty-three minutes at Sacramento. The current expected lineup lists him at small forward, but those bench outings make a full starter’s workload something to verify rather than assume.
Five winning appearances is a thin basis for a perfect record, and his Lakers history in the prior-season comparison adds no older games. The appeal is the modest eight-point ask and production in both recent bench outings, not a claim that the early run makes it dependable. He’s a separate scoring option if you’d rather look beyond Doncic’s passing and rebounds.

Choosing your Lakers parlay picks
The Doncic decision comes down to which contribution you want to pay for. Seven assists carries the heavier price and the stronger older Lakers record; fifteen rebounds plus assists offers the lighter price but has needed help from the boards in games such as Toronto. Williams offers an eight-point route with a shorter history and a changing role. You can choose one of those approaches without taking every row.
