Ryan O’Reilly had two assists in Nashville’s latest win over Colorado. Steven Stamkos scored a goal, and Roman Josi added a helper. If you’re backing the Predators against St. Louis, those contributions give you three ways to look at the scoring props without asking every player to find the net.
These Predators parlay picks compare O’Reilly’s and Stamkos’ points with Josi’s assists in Nashville victories, alongside each player’s all-game record. That’s the Side & Support approach for this matchup: start with Nashville winning, then examine the player outcomes that have accompanied those wins. The choices are alternatives to weigh, rather than a requirement to stack all three.
Predators parlay picks: passing, finishing or a helper from the blue line
The table uses Nashville appearances in the 2026–27 regular season from October 1. There are only seven wins in each comparison, so the longer records and recent exceptions matter.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ryan O’Reilly Over 0.5 points |
−175 | 85.7% 6 of 7 NSH wins |
75.0% 12 of 16 appearances |
| Steven Stamkos Over 0.5 points |
−175 | 85.7% 6 of 7 NSH wins |
75.0% 12 of 16 appearances |
| Roman Josi 1+ assist |
−135 | 85.7% 6 of 7 NSH wins |
62.5% 10 of 16 appearances |
Ryan O’Reilly: over 0.5 points at −175
O’Reilly’s latest two assists are a useful example of why the points market gives you more room than betting on him to score. He also supplied an assist in the win over Tampa Bay without putting a shot on goal. A point can come from setting up a teammate even when his own shooting is quiet.
The price reflects that extra route: his points over was −175, compared with +100 for an assist and +220 for an anytime goal in the earlier goalscorer snapshot. The bigger payouts ask for a particular kind of contribution; the points bet accepts either one.
His record also holds up reasonably well over the longer Nashville sample: from October 2025 onward, he had a point in 36 of 44 wins and 61 of 97 appearances overall. That longer record includes this season’s games. He’s expected to center the first line, but his recent zero in the win over Carolina came with no shots in 19:23. His team winning and his minutes staying substantial haven’t guaranteed a point.
Steven Stamkos: over 0.5 points at −175
Stamkos costs the same as O’Reilly here, but recent Nashville wins have featured more of his finishing. He scored against Tampa Bay on six shots and scored again in the latest Colorado game. In the earlier win over Colorado, he had two goals and an assist. You’re getting the goal-or-assist option while keeping that shooting contribution in the picture.
His longer Nashville record is 36 point-producing games in 45 wins, compared with 55 of 98 appearances overall, from October 2025 onward. The current run is stronger, though he and O’Reilly both went without a point in the November 3 victory over Carolina. Stamkos had three shots that night and still finished without a point.
He’s expected on O’Reilly’s left wing. That makes the two forwards a useful comparison at the same price, but also creates shared exposure if you take both. They can contribute to the same scoring play or both miss out when someone else supplies the offense. Their separate records don’t tell you the chance of both props hitting.
Roman Josi: 1+ assist at −135
Josi offers the lighter price if you want to focus on a helper from the blue line. He assisted in each of Nashville’s latest two wins, and his three-assist game against Colorado earlier in the season shows the kind of passing production this bet is looking for.
There’s a clear price choice within his own markets, too: an assist at −135 versus a point at −190. Both happened in six of the seven wins in the table’s window. The points bet would let a goal rescue the selection, but that extra flexibility costs more; a goal on its own wouldn’t meet the one-assist target.
The older record is the main reason to keep this one in perspective. From October 2025 onward, Josi had an assist in 26 of 42 Nashville wins and 42 of 84 appearances overall—far below this season’s six of seven. His lone current winning-game miss came against Tampa Bay despite five shots and 27:33 on the ice. He’s expected on the first defensive pair, and he played 28:02 in the latest game, but a heavy workload by itself doesn’t supply an assist.

Pick the scoring contribution you expect
O’Reilly gives you a points option with recent passing support; Stamkos offers the same line and price with more recent goal-scoring examples. Josi’s assist costs less, with a bigger gap between the encouraging short run and his older record. Choose the contribution that fits your view of a Nashville win, keeping the forwards’ shared line and the same-game pricing in mind.
