Predators Parlay Picks vs. Lightning: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Ryan O’Reilly didn’t put a shot on goal against Washington, but an assist still got him on the scoresheet. Steven Stamkos took three shots in that same Nashville loss and finished without a point. If you’re backing a Predators win over Tampa Bay, that contrast is a useful place to start: a point bet can clear through passing, while a busy shooting night can still come up empty.

Both players have recorded a point in each of Nashville’s four wins this season. These Predators parlay picks compare their individual prices with a different route: Anthony Cirelli to finish without an assist. These Side & Support options start with a hypothetical Nashville win; you can choose which supporting prop fits that view.

Predators parlay picks: two point scorers and an assist under

The table covers completed current-team games from October 1, 2025 through October 30, 2026, using the same dates and participation rules for both columns: Nashville wins for O’Reilly and Stamkos, Tampa Bay losses for Cirelli. Their perfect records in this season’s wins or losses come from only four games apiece. The rates describe history, not the probability of these bets landing today. Individual DraftKings prices can change.

Ryan O’Reilly: 1+ point at −150

O’Reilly gives you a choice about how much scoring responsibility you want to put on one player. His point line allows either a goal or an assist. Over 0.5 assists was +125, offering the larger payout but asking him specifically to set up a goal.

That difference has mattered in Nashville’s wins this season. Two of the four brought an O’Reilly goal without an assist. The point line would have cleared both; the assist line wouldn’t. His four-point game in the latest win over Colorado was much more than this target needs, with two goals and two assists.

He’s continued contributing since that win, scoring against the Islanders and assisting against Washington. The Washington assist came in 21:42 despite his zero shots on goal. Listed as Nashville’s expected first-line center, he’s averaging a little over 21 minutes this season, about 50 seconds more than in the older Nashville games.

The Tampa Bay history is less encouraging. O’Reilly had no points in either meeting in this window, both Nashville losses. He played more than 21 minutes in one and more than 24 in the other, with substantial power-play time in each. His losing-game record helps explain why the Nashville-win premise matters here, but those quiet games against this opponent still deserve weight.

Steven Stamkos: 1+ point at −150

Stamkos carries the same point price as O’Reilly, with a less consistent scoring record across all his Nashville games. Both have contributed in each Predators win this season, though that’s still only four wins. If you prefer Stamkos, the point line leaves room for him to create a goal as well as finish one.

The St. Louis win is a useful example. He had two assists and only one shot in 17:38. The current two-shot offer is −215, compared with −150 for a point. At those prices, the point line offers the larger payout. His St. Louis stat line would clear it through passing, while two shots would miss. It won’t always work that way: he took three shots without a point in the latest loss to Washington.

Stamkos is listed beside O’Reilly on the expected first line and is averaging about 19 minutes this season, up from just under 18 in the older games. Against Colorado, he had two goals and an assist in 17:46, including 6:33 on the power play. His recent opportunities extend beyond even-strength shooting.

He also went without a point in both earlier Tampa Bay meetings in this window, despite taking three and two shots. Those are the same Nashville defeats discussed above. Choosing between the two Predators at an identical price comes down to which player’s scoring involvement you prefer; putting both in a combination adds a second player who must contribute, even if one goal could help them both.

Anthony Cirelli: under 0.5 assists at −320

Cirelli’s assist under offers a different version of the Nashville-win idea. You don’t need him to stay completely off the scoresheet. A goal is allowed; an assist is what beats this bet.

His recent Vegas game makes that distinction clear: Cirelli scored twice and had no assists. The no-point line would have lost, while the assist under would have cleared. DraftKings had his point under at −150 and his assist under at −320. The assist bet gives you more room for him to contribute, in exchange for a much smaller individual payout.

He finished without an assist in all four Lightning losses this season. In the two most recent, he played 17:19 and 19:46, with power-play time in both. He’s listed as Tampa Bay’s expected second-line center and is averaging about 17½ minutes, close to his older usage. The losing-game pattern has held while he’s been getting regular work.

His latest appearance is the clear warning: a goal and two assists against Winnipeg in 19 minutes. Either assist alone would have beaten the under. He also had two assists in one of the previous Nashville meetings, which Tampa Bay won. You’re backing a quieter passing result alongside a different team outcome, rather than assuming he’s stopped creating offense.

Choose how much room to leave for a contribution

O’Reilly’s goal-only contributions in Nashville wins are worth weighing before taking his assist price instead. If your view is more about limiting Tampa Bay, Cirelli’s assist under still leaves room for him to score. The two Predators share a line, and all three options share a game; their individual records aren’t a combined probability.
