Franz Wagner scored 23 points in Orlando’s latest game while adding 13 rebounds and nine assists. He can have a busy night without reaching 24 points, which is the distinction behind one of these Raptors parlay picks if you’re backing Toronto.
This Side & Support edition compares Wagner under 23.5 points with Jamal Shead’s four assists. One allows an opposing scorer to remain involved below a specific line; the other follows Toronto’s bench playmaking in Raptors wins. Shead’s latest zero-assist game and Wagner’s increased responsibilities both deserve attention beside the historical records.

Records cover each player’s appearances with his current team from the start of the 2025–26 season through completed games before this matchup, including postseason and play-in games where applicable. Each row uses the same history for its win/loss and all-game records. DraftKings prices were observed on October 28 and can change.
Jamal Shead: 4+ assists
Shead reached four assists in 46 of his 51 Toronto wins across the window, compared with 72 of 92 appearances overall. His two Raptors wins this season each included five assists, in 16 and 24 minutes. Sunday’s loss brought zero in 21 minutes, so the recent record contains a clear counterexample.
He has reached four in eight of his last ten appearances. The other recent miss was two in a 28-minute playoff loss. His five misses in wins included three assists in 24 minutes last March. Tonight’s 24-minute bench projection is close to that workload, while Immanuel Quickley is projected for 29 minutes. Some older playoff appearances lasted much longer, so the winning-game percentage needs that current-role context.
DraftKings prices 4+ at -198, about $50.51 profit on a $100 stake. Five assists is offered at +105 and would have cleared both current wins, but recent four-assist playoff games show what the extra assist can cost. Toronto is without Kawhi Leonard; that doesn’t by itself establish a larger playmaking role for Shead.
Franz Wagner: under 23.5 points
Wagner finished below 23.5 points in 15 of the 18 Orlando losses he played in across the window, compared with 31 of 43 appearances overall. His scoring this season is 22, 18 and 23. Both losses stayed below the line, and so did the latest win—but 23 leaves just half a point of room.
All ten of his latest appearances finished below 23.5. The wider losing-game sample still contains 27 points in 35 minutes, 29 in 43 and 25 in 36. Those are the outcomes this under has to avoid, even if Toronto wins.
DraftKings offers -116, about $86.21 profit on $100, the larger individual payout here. This is a points-only line: his latest 23 points came with 13 rebounds and nine assists. It also took 23 shot attempts in 37 minutes. With Banchero and Suggs out, Wagner could carry more of Orlando’s offense than the older sample reflects. He’s projected for 34 minutes, so the clean recent scoring record shouldn’t obscure that current opportunity or how close his last game came to the line.
Weigh the two different failure points
Shead’s assists needs Toronto’s bench playmaking to return after a zero, while Wagner’s under needs his scoring to stop short of 24 despite an expanded offensive burden. The under pays more, with a smaller 18-loss sample. Choose the risk that fits your Toronto-win view; the separate historical records aren’t a combined chance, and the sportsbook can adjust related selections.
