Dallas beat Columbus last weekend with Mikko Rantanen recording a point and Jason Robertson managing just one shot on goal. If you’re backing the Stars again, that contrast matters: one familiar supporting prop landed, while the win wasn’t enough to deliver the other.
These Stars parlay picks compare Dallas players in Stars wins and Columbus players in Blue Jackets losses. Rantanen gives you a scoring option with a longer Dallas history. Robertson’s shooting record is stronger this season, despite that Columbus miss. If you’d rather look at the Blue Jackets, Matthew Knies’s shots under is the opposing-player option.
Stars parlay picks to compare
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All appearances |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mikko Rantanen Over 0.5 points Regular season since Oct. 21, 2025 |
−200 | 86.7% 39 of 45 Stars wins |
73.0% 54 of 74 appearances |
| Jason Robertson Over 2.5 shots on goal 2026–27 regular season |
−170 | 88.9% 8 of 9 Stars wins |
73.3% 11 of 15 appearances |
| Matthew Knies Under 1.5 shots on goal 2026–27 regular season |
−120 | 85.7% 6 of 7 Blue Jackets losses |
61.5% 8 of 13 appearances |
Rantanen’s row covers regular-season appearances with Dallas since October 21, 2025. Robertson and Knies cover this regular season with their current clubs; nine Dallas wins and seven Columbus losses make those smaller samples.
Mikko Rantanen over 0.5 points
Rantanen is projected on Dallas’s top line, and he’s supplied a goal or an assist in every Stars win this season. He had a point in the recent win over Columbus and another in the following win at Washington. That gives you a direct recent example for this rematch, as well as the broader record in the table.
His contribution hasn’t depended entirely on the result. He also recorded two points in the loss to Montreal, while New Jersey kept him scoreless in the game before that. The over needs just one goal or assist from him, but Dallas can win through someone else.
DraftKings offered −200 for over 0.5 points. That means a $200 individual stake would earn $100 profit if he records a point. This season’s nine-for-nine winning-game run is stronger than the earlier part of the table’s window, when he had a point in 30 of 36 Dallas wins and 43 of 59 appearances overall. Those six earlier scoreless wins are a reminder that a Stars victory hasn’t always brought a Rantanen point with it.
Jason Robertson over 2.5 shots on goal
Robertson returned to five shots in Dallas’s latest win at Washington. He’s reached three shots in eight of the Stars’ nine victories this season, and he also reached the target in the recent losses to New Jersey and Montreal. You don’t need him to score for the shots over to land.
The awkward detail is the opponent: his only miss in a Dallas win this season came against Columbus. He finished that meeting with one shot in more than 16 minutes on the ice. That makes this a choice about whether his shooting rebounds against the same team, rather than a reason to assume another Dallas win settles the question.
At −170, a $170 individual stake on his shots over would earn $100 profit, compared with the $200 needed for that profit on Rantanen’s points over. The longer comparison is a reason to keep expectations measured: in the archived regular-season Dallas appearances from October 21, 2025 through last season’s finish, Robertson reached three shots in 29 of 47 wins and 49 of 77 appearances overall. This season’s stronger shooting record is the reason to consider him; the older record is much less persuasive.
Matthew Knies under 1.5 shots on goal
Knies had no shots in Columbus’s loss to Dallas and none in its next game, the win over Colorado. He’s projected on the Blue Jackets’ top line, so this under isn’t based on expecting him to sit out or get only a few shifts. It asks him to finish with no more than one shot.
He’s stayed below two shots more often in Columbus defeats than across his full current-club sample. The loss to Toronto is the counterexample: he recorded three shots that night in more than 18 minutes. Regular minutes can still produce enough attempts on goal to beat this line.
The −120 price is the lightest of these three individual offers, but it comes with only seven Columbus losses to inspect. All 13 appearances in the comparison are with the Blue Jackets this season; former-team games aren’t mixed into that record. You’re choosing a recent Columbus pattern, not a lengthy history with this club.
How do you see the rematch?
Rantanen gives you the scoring contribution backed by a longer Dallas sample. Robertson gives you the shooting option, with the last Columbus meeting as the clearest reason to hesitate. If you expect a quieter night for Columbus, Knies’s under is another route. You don’t need all three, and the two Dallas props can share attacking chances; separate hit rates and individual prices don’t establish a combined probability or sportsbook parlay quote.
