Timberwolves Parlay Picks vs. Cavaliers: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Jaden McDaniels has opened the season with 17, 15 and 14 points, all in Minnesota wins. If you’re backing the Timberwolves in Cleveland tonight, his 12-point alternate gives you a way to stay with that scoring run without asking him to lead the offense.

Rudy Gobert’s rebounds offer another Minnesota contribution. James Harden staying under 1.5 steals gives you an opposing-player route at a lighter price. These Timberwolves parlay picks work outward from a Minnesota victory: which performances have regularly fit that result, and what would you pay to include them?

That’s the useful part of Side & Support. Start with the game you expect, then compare the support—without feeling obliged to squeeze every option onto the same ticket.

Three props to weigh with a Timberwolves win

Jaden McDaniels: 12+ points

McDaniels’ 12+ points line is −221 at DraftKings. Since the start of the 2025–26 season, he’s reached it in 45 of 53 Timberwolves wins, compared with 68 of 88 appearances overall. He’s also cleared it in each of his last ten games, regardless of the result.

His three games this season have all finished above 12, even with Minnesota spreading the scoring around. It’s a modest contribution from a regular starter, rather than a request for an unusually big night.

The longer history is less consistent: adding the 2024–25 season brings the winning record down to 74 of 111. The appeal here is his more recent scoring, and Minnesota has still won eight games in the shorter sample without him reaching 12.

Rudy Gobert: 9+ rebounds

Gobert’s nine-rebound alternate costs −375. He’s collected at least nine in 46 of 55 Minnesota wins since the start of last season; the all-game record is 66 of 91. That’s a more noticeable difference between his winning and overall records than we get with McDaniels’ points.

The opening week fits: Gobert has pulled down 15, nine and 13 rebounds in Minnesota’s three victories. The nine-board game also shows the margin can be thin. His most recent winning miss was a seven-rebound playoff outing in April, and Minnesota won two February games with him at six and eight.

This is the most expensive of the three options. The stronger winning split is worth comparing, but the additional cost belongs in that comparison too.

James Harden: under 1.5 steals

Harden finishing with zero or one steal is −156, the lightest price in this edition. Since joining Cleveland last season, he’s stayed under 1.5 steals in 15 of the eighteen Cavaliers losses he’s played in, compared with 32 of 46 Cavaliers appearances overall.

This isn’t a bet against his scoring or passing. You’re limiting one particular defensive statistic, leaving plenty of room for Harden to be involved elsewhere. The under has also landed in seven of his last ten games, including both opening games this season: one steal in the loss to Philadelphia and none in the win over Brooklyn.

The losing sample is smaller than the Minnesota players’ winning samples, and three Cleveland defeats still came with at least two Harden steals. That’s the tradeoff to weigh against the lower price, rather than assuming a Timberwolves win decides his individual line.

Timberwolves parlay picks: choosing your support

McDaniels brings the clearest recent scoring run. Gobert supplies a strong rebounding contrast between wins and all games, at a higher cost. Harden’s under offers the lighter price and a different requirement from the other sideline.

Choose the contribution that fits your Minnesota pick, then compare the sportsbook’s actual SGP quote. These are separate historical records, not a combined ticket’s chance of winning.
