Justin Champagnie has collected eight, six and fourteen rebounds to open the season. If you’re backing Washington in Charlotte tonight, his five-rebound alternate offers a modest starting point from a player who’s stayed busy on the glass.
Tre Johnson’s eight-point line gives you another Washington contribution to compare. Brandon Miller staying under 24.5 points offers a different approach from the other sideline—and a much lighter price.
That’s the mix behind these Wizards parlay picks: start with a Washington win, then weigh contributions seen in Wizards victories or Hornets defeats. Side & Support leaves the combination to you, with the records and recent exceptions beside each choice.

Justin Champagnie: 5+ rebounds
Champagnie’s five-rebound alternate is −270 at DraftKings. Since the start of the 2025–26 season, he’s reached five in 13 of 15 Washington wins, compared with 45 of 71 appearances overall.
That difference is the clearest historical contrast in this group. His early-season work fits too: eight, six and fourteen boards, with 21, 23 and 26 minutes of playing time. All three games have cleared the line, including Washington’s loss.
He’s still working in a bench role, so those minutes matter more than treating five rebounds as a tiny number. The two winning misses in this sample both ended at three rebounds in January; eight of his last ten games overall have reached five.
Tre Johnson: 8+ points
Johnson’s eight-point alternate costs −291. He’s reached eight in 13 of the fourteen Washington wins he’s appeared in since the start of last season, compared with 54 of 63 games overall.
The opening totals are eight, twenty and thirteen. He’s also reached eight in each of his last ten games. The eight-point opener shows the exact requirement matters: that was enough for an 8+ bet, without anything to spare.
His lone winning miss was a six-point game in January. The winning record is strong, with fourteen victories still a small enough sample that the broader 63-game record is useful company.
Brandon Miller: under 24.5 points
Miller’s scoring under is −121, substantially lighter than the two Washington alternates. He’s finished with 24 or fewer points in 22 of 26 Charlotte losses since the start of last season, compared with 51 of 70 appearances overall.
Nine of his last ten games stayed under, but the exception is the freshest one: 34 points in Saturday’s win over Miami. His other two opening games produced 18 and six, with the six coming in Charlotte’s loss.
Coby White and Kon Knueppel are out again, so Miller’s recent big scoring night deserves attention rather than being brushed aside by the longer record. This is a way to pair a Washington-win view with a limit on Charlotte’s scorer, not an assumption that a Hornets loss automatically keeps him quiet.
Wizards parlay picks: choosing your support
Champagnie gives you the biggest difference between the winning and all-game records. Johnson offers the strongest recent run at his scoring mark. Miller supplies the lower-cost under, with Saturday’s 34 points making the tradeoff particularly clear.
You can follow Washington’s supporting production or take the opposing-player route. Compare the actual SGP price and choose what fits your Wizards pick; the three separate records aren’t a combined success rate.
