Rays Parlay Picks vs. Brewers: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Tampa Bay won 4–3 Tuesday without a hit, run or RBI from Jonathan Aranda. That’s useful context for Rays parlay picks in Game 5: backing the team and backing one of its hitters are separate decisions. Aranda’s one-contribution line has a strong season record in Rays wins, but the latest victory shows how the offense can come from elsewhere.

We’re starting this Side & Support edition with a Tampa Bay win, then comparing two player outcomes around it. Aranda supplies the batting option. Across the diamond, Jacob Misiorowski’s earned-runs over asks Milwaukee’s starter to allow one earned run, something he’s done in each of his three playoff starts.

The choice is between a Rays hitter contributing and the Brewers’ pitcher allowing a small scoring contribution. Both fit a Tampa Bay-win discussion, with different sample sizes, recent evidence and prices to weigh for the Brewers–Rays matchup.

Two props to weigh with a Rays win

Misiorowski’s eight Brewers losses are a much smaller sample than Aranda’s 96 Rays wins. His three postseason starts provide separate recent context; all three ended in Milwaukee victories.

Jacob Misiorowski: over 0.5 earned runs allowed

Misiorowski doesn’t need to have a bad outing for this line to win. DraftKings prices over 0.5 earned runs allowed at −202, so one earned run is enough. He’s allowed two, one and one in his three playoff starts, despite Milwaukee winning all three games.

The result-specific record is seven hits in the eight Brewers losses he started this season, compared with 21 of 33 starts overall. That difference makes the prop worth considering around a Tampa Bay win, but the eight-loss sample has clear limits.

All eight losses came in the regular season, with the latest in early August. In one of them, a May start, he allowed no earned runs. The 87.5% figure therefore describes a small, older group of games; the recent playoff starts offer support for the low threshold without expanding that loss sample.

Keep the market’s wording in view. An unearned run alone won’t get an earned-runs over home. At −202, a winning $100 stake earns about $49.50 profit. The appeal is asking for one earned run, without needing a quick hook or a large Tampa Bay total to clear this individual line.

Jonathan Aranda: 1+ hit, run or RBI

Aranda’s over 0.5 combined hits, runs and RBIs is −175. A single is enough, but he can also clear the line by scoring a run or driving one in without a hit. That gives him more routes than a hits-only prop.

He’s reached the mark in 79 of the 96 Rays wins he’s started this season, against 120 of 160 starts overall. The 82.3% winning-game record is the season-long reason to consider him. The postseason evidence is the reason to be selective.

Aranda has contributed in seven of his 12 playoff starts and five of the eight Rays wins he’s started. He went 0-for-5 without a run or RBI in Tuesday’s victory, after also missing in Tampa Bay’s previous win on October 19. A Rays win can arrive without his contribution, as both of those recent results show.

The −175 price earns about $57.14 profit on a winning $100 stake, slightly more than the pitching option. It leaves a straightforward choice: does the larger season sample persuade you to back Aranda after those empty nights, or do you expect other Rays hitters to supply the offense again?

Rays parlay picks: choosing your support

Misiorowski’s earned-run over has recent support from each playoff start, with a small regular-season loss sample behind its conditional record. Aranda brings the larger season sample and a lower price, but his recent record gives you a clear reason to compare rather than automatically add him.

Choose the requirement that best fits your view of the game. These are individual options, and their separate historical rates don’t establish a combined win probability. If you pair one with Tampa Bay, use the sportsbook’s actual same-game quote.
