Knicks Parlay Picks vs. 76ers: Side & Support Parlay Plays

VJ Edgecombe reached eight points in all four of Philadelphia’s playoff losses to New York last spring. Tyrese Maxey got to 20 only once in that series. If you’re backing the Knicks again, those very different scoring demands are worth comparing.

OG Anunoby’s 12 points gives you a New York scorer to consider alongside Maxey’s 20 and Edgecombe’s eight for Philadelphia. Maxey’s fast start keeps him in the conversation, but last spring’s series shows why the number you choose matters.

Three supporting options for a Knicks win

The table covers last season and this season with each player’s current club, including the playoffs. Anunoby is shown in Knicks wins; Maxey and Edgecombe in Philadelphia losses. Both Philadelphia players reached their lines more often overall than in defeats.

OG Anunoby: 12+ points at −389

Anunoby gives you a Knicks scorer to back with the team. He reached 12 in 53 of 62 wins, more often than across all his New York games, and has a regular starting role behind that record.

He has scored 13 and 23 in New York’s two wins this season and reached 12 in four of five games overall. The miss came against this opponent: 10 points in 32 minutes in the opening loss to Philadelphia. His other current-season outings lasted 31–36 minutes, so the case has consistent recent playing time behind it.

At −389, he’s the most expensive choice here. Twelve leaves room for a quieter night, but nine Knicks wins in the record still came with a miss. The ten-point opener against Philadelphia shows the minutes can be there without the points.

Tyrese Maxey: 20+ points at −258

Maxey reached 20 in 33 of 40 Philadelphia losses. He did it even more often overall, in 77 of 87 games, so the appeal is how often his scoring has held up when the 76ers lose.

His new-season output has been substantial: 28, 32, 26, 29 and 27 points, with 34–42 minutes in every game. The 29-point outing came in Philadelphia’s only loss, against Detroit. He also cleared 20 comfortably in the opener against New York.

Last spring’s Knicks series pushes back against that current run: 13, 26, 17 and 17 points, with only one game reaching 20. Those losses are already counted in the table. You’re choosing how much weight to give the fast start against a playoff matchup where New York often kept him below this line.

Eighteen at −410 hit in the same 33 of 40 Philadelphia losses and added just one hit overall. Twenty at −258 pays more while needing two extra points. Jaylen Brown’s questionable knee status also matters to Philadelphia’s final mix of scorers.

VJ Edgecombe: 8+ points at −329

Edgecombe’s eight has more direct support from that Knicks series: 12, 17, 11 and eight in the four losses. Across his full Philadelphia record, he reached it in 35 of 39 losses and 82 of 91 games overall. The four playoff games are useful context within that history, not a separate long record.

He’s reached eight in all four appearances this season: nine, 11, 17 and eight. An abdominal injury kept him out of the Detroit loss before he returned for eight in 29 minutes against Indiana. All 39 losses in the historical comparison are therefore from last season; he hasn’t played in a loss this season yet.

The return landed on eight, and the opener was only one point above it. At −329, you pay more than for Maxey while asking for much less scoring, but a quiet night can still be close. They also share Philadelphia’s shots, so their records shouldn’t be treated as independent.

Choosing your Knicks parlay picks

If the playoff matchup is your main guide, Edgecombe’s lower line held up far better than Maxey’s 20. If the current scoring run draws you to Maxey, weigh that contrast rather than ignoring it. Anunoby gives you the New York option at the heaviest price. Choose among them; the table doesn’t establish a combined chance of winning or a parlay price.
