76ers Parlay Picks vs. Knicks: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Tyrese Maxey has scored 26–32 points in each of Philadelphia’s first five games. If you’re backing the 76ers against New York, his 25-point line has a recent run behind it—but the Knicks gave him a much tougher time in last May’s playoffs.

Maxey’s 25, Joel Embiid’s 18 and VJ Edgecombe’s eight give you three scoring targets to compare around a Philadelphia win. The lower numbers for Embiid and Edgecombe come with heavier prices, so the choice is how much scoring cushion you want to pay for.

Three Philadelphia scoring options

The records cover last season and this season with Philadelphia, including the playoffs. Each player’s record in 76ers wins is compared with his overall record for the same period.

Tyrese Maxey: 25+ points at +103

Maxey has taken 18–24 shots and played 34–42 minutes in every game this season. That steady chance to score is the strongest recent reason to consider 25, alongside his higher hit rate in Philadelphia wins.

New York is the harder part of the case. Maxey scored 13, 26, 17 and 17 in last May’s four-game series, clearing 25 only once. Two misses came despite 44 and 33 minutes. Those games are already in the broader record, so the strong overall numbers don’t erase them.

Twenty-four points at −118 had the same 38 hits in Philadelphia wins as 25, but two more overall: 62 of 87 rather than 60. Twenty-five at +103 pays more while taking away a point of room. The matching win counts don’t prove the higher line is the better bet.

If that Knicks history puts you off 25, twenty points was −260 and covered 44 of 47 wins and 77 of 87 games overall. Maxey’s 29 in Philadelphia’s only loss this season also shows the scoring can come without the team result.

Joel Embiid: 18+ points at −328

Embiid’s four totals this season are 13, 24, 28 and 21, all in Philadelphia wins. Three cleared 18, and the opener is a useful check on how much comfort to take from his bigger games.

He scored 13 in 33 minutes on four-of-15 shooting. His average minutes are up to 35.5 from the older 31.8, but that opening miss shows a substantial workload in a 76ers win still isn’t enough if the shots don’t fall.

Twenty points at −217 covered 26 of 31 wins and 40 of 49 games overall. Both lines fit the same three games this season. Against New York last May, though, Embiid scored 14, 18 and 24: eighteen at −328 covers the middle game while still missing the first.

Philadelphia lost all three of those Knicks games. They show what the lower number buys, not that an Embiid scoring hit means a 76ers win.

VJ Edgecombe: 8+ points at −355

Edgecombe’s eight points has been about as common across all his Philadelphia games as in their wins. It’s a modest individual target to compare, rather than one that particularly depends on the 76ers getting the result.

He’s scored nine, 11, 17 and eight in his four appearances this season. An abdominal injury kept him out of the team’s only loss; he returned for eight in 29 minutes on three-of-ten shooting, including one of six from deep. That return only just cleared the line.

He’s had fewer chances than in the older games: 31.8 minutes and 11 shots a night, down from 35.3 and 13.7. He started all four appearances, but the recent lower workload matters more than the starting label alone.

Ten points at −186 covered 41 of 52 wins and 72 of 91 games overall, and would have missed two of his four games this season. Eight at −355 costs more while covering the recent nine and eight. He also reached eight in all four Knicks games last May, despite Philadelphia losing each one.

Choosing your 76ers parlay picks

Maxey offers the positive price, with last May’s Knicks series the strongest objection. If you’d rather pay for a lower target, compare Embiid’s 18 and 20 against those New York totals. Edgecombe’s eight leaves more scoring room, but his return game and reduced minutes show why it can still be close.

Jaylen Brown is listed questionable with a knee issue. Keep his final status in view without assuming where Philadelphia’s shots will go. You can choose one of these scorers; their separate records don’t establish a combined chance of winning or a parlay price.
