Caleb Wilson has taken 14–24 shots in each of his first five Chicago games. Matas Buzelis, meanwhile, has reached ten points in all four Bulls losses. If you’re backing Boston, those two Chicago scorers give you different ways to look beyond the Celtics’ own players.
Buzelis’ 10+ points is the lower number to chase; Wilson’s 15+ comes with more shots and a lighter price. Here’s what you’re getting with each alongside a Celtics-win view.
Two supporting options for a Celtics win
Buzelis’ record covers last season and this season with Chicago; Wilson’s is just this season. Each loss record is compared with the same player’s overall record for that period. Wilson’s four losses are an early clue, not a long track record.
| Player & prop | Odds | In Bulls losses | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matas Buzelis 10+ points Last season + this season |
−356 | 84.9% 45 of 53 CHI losses |
85.4% 70 of 82 appearances |
| Caleb Wilson 15+ points This season |
−223 | 100.0% 4 of 4 CHI losses |
100.0% 5 of 5 appearances |
Matas Buzelis: 10+ points at −356
A Bulls defeat hasn’t usually stopped Buzelis from reaching ten. He did it in 45 of 53 Chicago losses, about as often as across his Bulls games overall.
He has reached 10 in all four Chicago losses this season, scoring 17, 21, 11 and 17. The 11 came against Boston in 22 minutes on Monday. His seven-point miss was in Chicago’s win over Milwaukee, when he played 17 minutes.
He’s getting fewer chances than in the older games: 26.4 minutes and 9.8 shots a night, down from 29.2 and 12.5. His 17-point opener also needed 13 made free throws. At −356, you’re paying the heavier price of these two choices, and Monday’s narrow hit against Boston shows there isn’t always much room.
Caleb Wilson: 15+ points at −223
Wilson’s five totals—16, 21, 30, 17 and 20—have all cleared 15, including all four losses. Five games is little history, but the amount he’s playing and shooting gives you something more useful to judge than the perfect percentage alone.
He has started each game, played 32–38 minutes and taken between 14 and 24 shots. His average of 18.4 attempts has given him room to score through uneven shooting: he finished with 16 points against Toronto despite making seven of 21 attempts.
Against Boston on Monday, he scored 17 in 32 minutes on seven-of-15 shooting. He has already finished within two points of this target twice, so the small sample leaves plenty to learn. The −223 quote offers a larger payout than Buzelis’s line, while requiring five additional points.
Choosing your Celtics parlay picks
The choice is whether you prefer Buzelis’ lower target and longer Chicago record, or Wilson’s larger current shooting workload at a lighter price. Wilson still has only five games behind him. You can choose either without combining them; both depend on Chicago’s offense, and the separate records don’t establish a combined chance of winning or a parlay price.
