Celtics Parlay Picks vs. Hornets: Side & Support Parlay Plays

If you’re backing Boston in Charlotte, Paul George’s last game is a useful check on what you need from him. He scored 25 points in the win over Milwaukee but collected only three rebounds. Five boards had been a regular contribution in his earlier Celtics wins; a good scoring night didn’t get him there this time.

These Celtics parlay picks put that rebounding option alongside two limits on Charlotte: Naz Reid finishing with fewer than three assists and Brandon Miller making fewer than four threes. Side & Support compares George in Boston wins with Reid and Miller in Hornets losses. You can use the comparison to choose a prop that fits your Boston-win view, without taking all three.

Celtics parlay picks: three ways to support a Boston win

The records below cover this regular season with each player’s current club. Each option rests on only six wins or losses, so even the perfect record is a small early-season sample.

Paul George: over 4.5 rebounds

George gives you a way to back a Boston contribution without asking him to carry the scoring. Before Milwaukee, he had pulled down between five and seven rebounds in each of his five Celtics wins. That included five boards in 25 minutes against Chicago, so those successes didn’t all require a long night on the floor.

The latest miss matters: he played 35 minutes against the Bucks and still finished with three. Five rebounds has also been slightly more common across all his Boston appearances than in the wins alone. The appeal at −132 is that the target has usually remained within reach when Boston wins, rather than evidence that winning itself makes him a better rebounder. His Celtics history is only seven appearances, all this season.

Naz Reid: under 2.5 assists

Reid can have a big scoring night and still fit this under. He put up 28 points in Charlotte’s latest loss at Brooklyn and finished with two assists. He has had no more than two in any Hornets defeat this season, including several games with more than 30 minutes on the floor.

That makes the assist limit a different choice from asking Boston to shut down his scoring. It also costs more: −195 is the heaviest price here. His seven-assist game in Charlotte’s opening win at Brooklyn shows that three assists is well within his range, even though it hasn’t happened in the six losses. All nine appearances in this comparison are with Charlotte; the perfect losing-game record doesn’t establish how often this will happen next.

Brandon Miller: under 3.5 made threes

Miller’s under leaves room for three makes, and he landed exactly there in three of Charlotte’s six losses. That cushion is useful if you expect the Hornets to keep shooting from outside while Boston gets the result. He made just one three in the latest Brooklyn defeat, but he made five against Philadelphia despite a Charlotte loss.

At −135, this offers more profit on the same stake if it wins than Reid’s assist under, with a much less tidy record behind it. Across last season and this one with Charlotte, Miller stayed below four threes in 22 of 30 losses and 45 of 74 appearances overall. That longer view falls short of the current-season pattern. Kon Knueppel is also listed out with a hamstring injury for this matchup, leaving a different perimeter rotation to consider; we can’t assume Miller’s shooting workload will match those earlier games.

Choose the contribution you want to back

George is the option if you want Boston production alongside your Celtics-win view. On Charlotte’s side, Reid’s assist limit allows him a productive scoring night, while Miller’s three-point limit comes at a lighter price and has a clear recent exception. Both Hornets options depend on what happens in the same Charlotte offense; their separate records aren’t a combined success rate or a quoted parlay price.
