Bruins Parlay Picks vs. Blackhawks: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Tyler Bertuzzi has scored in a Chicago loss this season without recording an assist. If you’re backing Boston against the Blackhawks, that distinction matters: an assist under can survive a Chicago goal, while a no-point bet can’t.

These Bruins parlay picks compare Bertuzzi and Teuvo Teravainen to finish without an assist, alongside David Pastrnak to record a point. These Side & Support choices start with a hypothetical Boston win. You can ask for a Boston scoring contribution or limit a Chicago player’s passing, without needing all three options.

Bruins parlay picks: a point or a passing restriction

The records cover completed current-club games from October 1, 2025 through October 30, 2026, with the same dates and participation rules for both columns: Bruins wins for Pastrnak, Blackhawks losses for Bertuzzi and Teravainen. These are historical hit rates, not today’s probabilities. Individual DraftKings prices can change.

David Pastrnak: 1+ point at −360

Pastrnak’s point line gives Boston backers room for either a goal or an assist. He’s contributed in eight of the Bruins’ nine wins this season, and his two previous Chicago meetings in this window brought an assist in one and two assists in the other. Boston won both. He didn’t need to score himself to clear this target.

The price is heavy, especially beside the two-point alternative at +125. His recent San Jose game shows what the lower line buys: Boston scored six, but Pastrnak finished with one goal on five shots. One point would have cleared; two would have missed. The four-point game against Nashville immediately before it was much more than either line needed.

He’s listed on Boston’s expected first line and is averaging about 20 minutes this season, a little below the older Boston games. The latest St. Louis loss still brought 21:28 and three shots, but no points. There’s a direct counterexample to the win premise too: in a Boston win earlier this season, he took four shots in 17:32 and finished scoreless.

It’s the only Boston win this season in which he’s finished without a point. The longer record in the table is less consistent than his current eight of nine, so the recent run shouldn’t erase those older misses. At −360, the choice is whether the room for one scoring contribution is worth the smaller individual payout.

Tyler Bertuzzi: under 0.5 assists at −285

Bertuzzi has gone without an assist in all nine Blackhawks losses this season. The earlier goal-only game is why this option is more forgiving than under 0.5 points: he scored once in 16:18 during that defeat and had no assists. A point under would have lost; this assist under would have cleared.

DraftKings had the point under at −140, compared with −285 for no assists. The assist bet allows him to finish a chance himself, but offers a much smaller payout. That’s a real restriction difference to weigh, rather than two prices for the same outcome.

His recent quiet games haven’t all come with little opportunity. In the Florida loss he played 22:22, including 8:19 on the power play, and finished without a point. His latest game at Detroit brought no shots or points in 14:02. He’s listed on the expected second line and is averaging a little over 17 minutes, about a minute less than in the older Chicago games.

He can still set up a goal in a defeat. An April loss to St. Louis brought an assist in 21:30, beating the under. His two previous Boston meetings in this window went the other way, with no assists in either Chicago loss. The current nine-game losing sample supports the choice, but doesn’t turn his longer record into a perfect one.

Teuvo Teravainen: under 0.5 assists at −270

Teravainen offers the slightly lighter assist-under price, with a different place in Chicago’s attack. He’s listed beside Connor Bedard on the expected first line, so one pass that helps create a goal is a meaningful risk. He’s finished without an assist in six of the seven Chicago losses he’s appeared in this season.

The recent Los Angeles game shows how little it takes to beat this line. Teravainen had an assist in 13:44 as Chicago won 2–1. A modest amount of ice time was enough. He followed it with no points in 17:32 at Detroit, so the under isn’t simply a bet on him getting very few shifts.

He also had an assist in an earlier Chicago loss this season, despite playing only 14:22 and no power-play time. His season average is about 15 minutes, down from nearly 18 in the older games, but that smaller workload hasn’t removed his chance to contribute as a passer.

His point under was −160, versus −270 for the assist under. As with Bertuzzi, paying the heavier assist price leaves room for a goal. If you’re choosing between the two Chicago players, weigh Bertuzzi’s stronger current losing-game record against Teravainen’s slightly larger individual payout and first-line opportunity.

Choose the contribution you want to allow

The Chicago assist unders leave room for either player to score; the cheaper point unders don’t. If you prefer a positive Boston contribution, Pastrnak’s one-point line lets an assist do the job. These are related choices in one game, so their separate records aren’t independent probabilities to combine.
