Capitals Parlay Picks vs. Panthers: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Alex Tuch has seven point-producing games for Washington this season, and every one came in a Capitals win. That makes his point prop an interesting place to start if you’re backing Washington against Florida—though two straight scoreless games keep the recent picture from being quite so tidy.

These Capitals parlay picks also look across the ice. Under the same Washington-win premise, Sam Reinhart’s assists and Carter Verhaeghe’s shots are worth comparing in Panthers losses. Side & Support puts those records beside each player’s all-game numbers, so you can weigh a scoring contribution from Washington against a quieter night for part of Florida’s attack.

Capitals parlay picks: three ways to support a Washington win

The table uses this season’s regular-season appearances with each player’s current club. Seven Florida losses and eight Washington wins are still small samples. Individual DraftKings prices were captured on November 7 and can change.

Alex Tuch over 0.5 points (−110)

Tuch gives you a Washington scoring option without needing to pick whether he gets a goal or an assist. His last three appearances in Capitals wins brought two points against Buffalo, two against Philadelphia and one against Nashville. That’s useful support for a bettor expecting him to contribute to another Washington victory.

The six Washington losses tell the other half of the story: he went without a point in all of them. He was scoreless against Minnesota and Dallas most recently, even with four shots in one game and two in the other. Those shots on goal still left him without a point.

There’s also a winning-game exception: he had no points when Washington beat the Rangers on October 9. The current-club record covers just 14 appearances, so this is an early pattern to consider, not evidence that a Capitals win needs a point from Tuch.

Sam Reinhart under 0.5 assists (−180)

If your Washington view is more about limiting Florida’s passing combinations, Reinhart going without an assist offers a different route. He didn’t record one in any of the Panthers’ seven losses this season. The distinction is assists, not points: he scored a goal in the recent loss to Detroit and still finished without a helper.

There’s some older support here, too. In his Florida regular-season appearances since October 1, 2025, he went without an assist in 32 of 39 losses, compared with 51 of 80 games overall. That longer record includes this season’s games; it puts the perfect seven-game start in perspective.

His latest outing makes the risk easy to see. Reinhart had two assists and a goal in Florida’s win over Chicago, and he also supplied an assist in the preceding win over Winnipeg. At −180, you’re paying more than for either of the other two options, while asking an active part of Florida’s offense to finish without a single helper.

Carter Verhaeghe under 2.5 shots on goal (−120)

Verhaeghe’s shot under is the less expensive Florida option. Two shots would cover it; three would not. He finished with two in the loss to Detroit, while his only miss among this season’s seven Florida losses was a three-shot game against Anaheim.

His recent shooting is a substantial reason for caution. He’s reached at least three shots in four of his last five games, including four against Chicago most recently. Across all 16 Florida appearances this season, he’s stayed below three only half the time.

The older comparison is weaker as well: since October 1, 2025, the under occurred in 28 of 48 Florida losses and 51 of 93 appearances overall. This is a pattern from the current season, not a long-running tendency to assume will continue. It suits a view of Washington keeping Verhaeghe quieter, but a Panthers loss alone hasn’t consistently done that over the longer stretch.

Choose the contribution you expect

Tuch’s point over is the clearest scoring route if you expect Washington’s forwards to contribute to a win. Reinhart’s assist under has more support across older Florida losses; Verhaeghe’s shot under comes at a lighter price but faces the more obvious recent shooting challenge.

Reinhart and Verhaeghe are expected on the same Florida line, so taking both unders ties more of your bet to that group having a quiet night. You can choose one option or build your own combination; these separate records don’t supply a combined parlay probability or price.
