Devils Parlay Picks vs. Islanders: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Jesper Bratt’s assist offer pays more than his point over, yet both have landed in exactly the same Devils games this season. That’s the useful distinction behind these Devils parlay picks if you’re backing New Jersey against the Islanders: do you want to pay for the extra way to win, or ask Bratt specifically to set up a goal?

Jack Hughes supplies the broader scoring option, while Simon Holmstrom offers a way to consider a quieter Islanders night. This Side & Support comparison looks at Hughes’ points and Bratt’s assists in Devils wins, and Holmstrom’s points in Islanders losses, then sets those records beside their all-game numbers. The side gives the research a starting point; you choose which supporting contribution makes sense to you.

Devils parlay picks: scoring, passing and a point under

The table covers this season’s regular-season appearances with each player’s current team. Eleven Devils wins and eight Islanders losses are still small samples. Jesper Bratt over 0.5 assists (+105)

Bratt has supplied a helper in each of New Jersey’s last five wins, most recently adding a goal and an assist against St. Louis. He didn’t need a shot on goal to get his assist in the wins over Los Angeles, Dallas or Vegas. If you expect him to help create New Jersey’s scoring, that’s a more direct fit than asking for shooting volume.

The price choice is clear: his point over was −145, while an assist was +105. The point bet can also win on a goal without a helper. Bratt hasn’t needed that extra route in any of his point-producing games this season, which is why the assist deserves a look. The bigger payout comes with a narrower requirement, not proof of a better bet.

New Jersey has also won without his help on the scoresheet. Bratt had no points against the Rangers on October 15 or Colorado on October 20, the two misses in those eleven victories. His longer Devils record is less persuasive too: since October 1, 2025, an assist in 30 of 53 wins and 46 of 98 appearances overall. This season’s passing run is the reason to consider him; the longer history keeps it from looking like an automatic companion to a Devils win.

Simon Holmstrom under 0.5 points (−135)

Holmstrom has gone without a point in every Islanders loss this season, including the latest defeats against Edmonton and Carolina. That’s a clear contrast with his all-game scoring, and it offers a different route from backing a New Jersey contribution.

There’s useful opposing evidence from this very matchup. Holmstrom scored a goal and added an assist when the Islanders beat New Jersey on October 3. He also had assists in their recent wins over Nashville and Minnesota. You’re asking for a quiet night from a forward who has contributed to New York’s wins, not someone who never gets on the scoresheet.

He’s listed on the expected third line, but the eight-loss sample is only an early-season snapshot. Across his Islanders regular-season appearances since October 1, 2025, he went without a point in 34 of 46 losses and 58 of 94 games overall. That longer run includes scoring contributions in defeats, so keep the perfect current-season record in proportion.

Jack Hughes 1+ point (−255)

If you want a New Jersey contribution with more ways to arrive, Hughes gives you a goal or an assist. He had two goals without a helper in the Vegas win, then two assists without a goal against St. Louis. Either kind of night works for a point bet.

The offered 1+ point line matters here. His main point over was 1.5 at +175, which needs two points; this option asks for one at −255. In the wins over Philadelphia, the Rangers and Los Angeles, Hughes finished on exactly one. You’re paying more to keep those nights in play.

Hughes also has more support from the longer Devils record than Bratt’s assist does: a point in 37 of 45 wins and 54 of 77 games overall since October 1, 2025. He still went without a point in the October 20 win over Colorado, and in New Jersey’s earlier loss to these Islanders. He and Bratt are on the expected second line together, so taking both can leave you relying on the same scoring chances.

Choose the contribution that fits your New Jersey view

Hughes is the broader way to ask for a Devils contribution, at the highest price of the three. Bratt’s assist pays more if you’re comfortable narrowing that contribution to a helper. If your New Jersey view starts with the Islanders being held down, Holmstrom’s point under gives you the opposing angle.

Choose the route that fits your read without treating all three as a required parlay. Hughes and Bratt can benefit from the same goal, and separate hit rates don’t establish their combined chance or a sportsbook parlay price.
