Backing Anaheim doesn’t mean you have to pick the Ducks’ goal scorer. In their latest win at Vancouver, Leo Carlsson scored once and Jackson LaCombe assisted twice. Both cleared a one-point target, through different contributions to the same 5–4 result.
These Ducks parlay picks compare those scoring options in Anaheim wins with Connor McDavid’s shooting in Edmonton losses. That’s the Side & Support approach for a Ducks-win view: look for a contribution you expect from Anaheim, or a limit on the opponent that fits your reading of the game. The choices below are individual options, not a requirement to combine them.
Ducks parlay picks: a point from Anaheim, or fewer McDavid shots
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leo Carlsson Over 0.5 points |
−170 | 85.7% 6 of 7 ANA wins |
73.3% 11 of 15 appearances |
| Jackson LaCombe Over 0.5 points |
−145 | 100.0% 7 of 7 ANA wins |
86.7% 13 of 15 appearances |
| Connor McDavid Under 3.5 shots on goal |
−135 | 100.0% 5 of 5 EDM losses |
75.0% 12 of 16 appearances |
The records cover this season’s completed regular-season appearances with each player’s current club. There are only seven Anaheim wins and five Edmonton losses in these samples, so the perfect records deserve a closer look at what came before them.
Leo Carlsson — Over 0.5 points (−170)
Carlsson offers a goal-or-assist route from Anaheim’s expected first-line center. He had a goal and an assist in the Philadelphia win, three assists against Ottawa, then a goal in the latest Vancouver win. You don’t have to predict which contribution comes next to use this one-point target.
That flexibility costs more than his over 0.5 assists at +105. The Vancouver game shows exactly what you’re paying for: his goal meets today’s point target, but he didn’t record an assist. If your Anaheim-win view centers on Carlsson setting up teammates, the assist offer pays more; the −170 points option also leaves room for him to finish a chance himself.
His only scoreless Ducks win this season came against Winnipeg on October 9, when he played 16:25. Anaheim can get the result without him joining the scoring. Still, his longer record supports the connection better than the other two options here: since October 1, 2025, he recorded a point in 34 of 41 Ducks wins, compared with 53 of 85 appearances overall. That doesn’t promise a point tonight, but it gives this angle more history than the small current-season sample alone.
Jackson LaCombe — Over 0.5 points (−145)
LaCombe’s passing has supplied most of his winning-game production. He recorded an assist against Philadelphia and Ottawa, followed by two in Vancouver. The expected first-pair defenseman has had a point in every Anaheim win this season, with an assist in six of the seven.
There’s a cheaper way to follow that passing at the quoted board: over 0.5 assists was −120. The points target at −145 adds protection for a goal-only night. That mattered in the October 10 win over Calgary, when LaCombe scored but didn’t assist. You can choose whether that extra route is worth the higher price rather than treating the two offers as the same bet.
The perfect current winning record is a recent development, though. Across the longer window from October 1, 2025, he had a point in 35 of 50 Ducks wins and 62 of 97 appearances overall. That’s well short of the current seven-for-seven mark. He also went scoreless in this season’s losses to Calgary and the Rangers, so regular minutes haven’t kept every night productive. The case is his current scoring involvement, with an older record that argues against getting carried away.
Connor McDavid — Under 3.5 shots on goal (−135)
This under leaves McDavid room to create offense. In Edmonton’s loss to Toronto, he recorded two assists and three shots; against Detroit he had one assist and two shots, and in the latest loss at New Jersey he finished with one assist and one shot. All three fit today’s shots under despite his contributions on the scoresheet.
That distinction is useful if you expect Anaheim to win but don’t expect McDavid to disappear. His under 1.5 points was +115 on the same board, a different demand that would have lost on those two Toronto assists. The −135 shot under allows passing production and as many as three official shots on goal. Shot attempts that miss or are blocked aren’t the stat being counted.
All five Edmonton losses this season stayed below four McDavid shots. Five games is a thin foundation, and the longer comparison is much weaker: 27 of 46 Oilers losses, against 55 of 98 appearances overall, since October 1, 2025. He also took six shots in the recent Rangers win. A Ducks-win scenario is a reason to examine his quieter shooting games, not proof that Anaheim can hold him to three.

Decide how you expect Anaheim to get there
Carlsson’s point has the more consistent longer winning-game record. LaCombe offers a lighter price and strong recent passing, with the choice between an assist and a point changing how much goal-only protection you buy. If you’d rather focus on Edmonton, McDavid’s shot under lets you avoid needing a scoreless night from him.
The two Anaheim point props can benefit from the same goal, so their records don’t establish a combined parlay probability. Follow the Ducks–Oilers live matchup as the game approaches, or explore more NHL parlay ideas.
