A Kings upset doesn’t require every Spur to have a quiet night. Stephon Castle has grabbed at least four rebounds in 29 of the 30 San Antonio losses he’s played in since the start of last season—a useful wrinkle when sorting through Kings parlay picks.
That’s where this Side & Support edition begins: Sacramento wins, then we look at which player outcomes have often survived Spurs losses. Castle’s rebounds, a modest Devin Vassell scoring line and a Victor Wembanyama points-and-rebounds under offer three different ways to work with that view of the game.
The prices and records point in different directions. Castle has the strongest loss-game record, while Wembanyama’s under costs much less. There’s room to choose your support without treating every option as a required leg.
Three props to weigh with a Kings win
Records cover each player’s Spurs appearances since the start of the 2025–26 season, including the playoffs.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stephon Castle 4+ rebounds |
−314 | 96.7% 29 of 30 SA losses |
76.8% 73 of 95 games |
| Devin Vassell 10+ points |
−205 | 82.1% 23 of 28 SA losses |
76.6% 72 of 94 games |
| Victor Wembanyama Under 39.5 points + rebounds |
−119 | 88.9% 24 of 27 SA losses |
66.7% 60 of 90 games |
Stephon Castle: 4+ rebounds
Castle’s four-rebound line is −314 at DraftKings. His record in Spurs losses is 29 of 30 appearances, compared with 73 of 95 appearances overall. The distinction is striking: this particular target has held up more often in losses than across all of his games.
The latest results fit that pattern. Castle had seven rebounds in each of San Antonio’s first two games this season, both losses, then four in its first win. He’s reached four in all ten of his most recent appearances.
You can also move to five rebounds at −163. That changes the history to 25 of 30 Spurs losses and 60 of 95 games overall. Four costs more but gives you a stronger record; five offers a lighter price with four additional misses in those same losses. That’s a useful decision to make before building the rest of the ticket.
Devin Vassell: 10+ points
Vassell’s 10-point line is −205. He’s reached double figures in 23 of 28 Spurs losses since the start of the 2025–26 season, versus 72 of 94 appearances overall. It asks for a contribution without needing him to lead San Antonio’s scoring.
The early-season evidence is mixed rather than perfect. He scored seven in the opener, ten in the next loss and eleven in the Spurs’ first win. Eight of his last ten appearances have reached ten points.
That opening seven-point game matters because it shows how this can miss while the Kings-win premise still works. Vassell is the lower-priced milestone option here, but its loss-game record is less consistent than Castle’s rebounds. You’re choosing a different balance of price and past results.
Victor Wembanyama: under 39.5 points + rebounds
Wembanyama doesn’t need to disappear for this under to work. Twenty-five points and fourteen rebounds would finish at 39; another rebound would take it over. DraftKings has under 39.5 combined points and rebounds at −119.
He’s stayed below that line in 24 of the 27 Spurs losses he’s played in since the start of last season. Across all 90 appearances, the record is 60 of 90. That makes the San Antonio-loss angle more informative than simply pointing to a frequent overall under.
His first three totals this season were 25, 38 and 30, and nine of his last ten appearances stayed under. Still, points and rebounds give him two ways to push the total higher, and 38 was already close to this line. The lower price comes with a requirement that can change quickly during a productive stretch.
Kings parlay picks: choosing your support
Castle’s four rebounds stand out for consistency in Spurs losses. Vassell gives you a modest scoring target at a lower price, and Wembanyama’s under offers the clearest way to back a quieter combined night from San Antonio’s biggest name.
These options use Spurs losses as the historical comparison; they aren’t records from Kings–Spurs meetings. If Sacramento is your side, weigh which player requirement fits the upset you have in mind, then check the actual combined quote rather than adding every available angle.
