Jahmyr Gibbs has reached 80 rushing yards in six of the seven Lions wins he played in over the past year. Across the same window, none of his eight Detroit losses reached that mark. It’s the clearest split behind these Lions parlay picks.
The other options are a Sam LaPorta catch under and a busy passing day for Jordan Love. LaPorta can contribute without reaching six catches, while Green Bay throwing often can fit a Detroit-win view.
Side & Support works outward from that result into the individual player choices. This edition gives you three requirements to compare, including an under that leaves room for plenty of receiving yards.
Three props to consider with a Lions win
The records cover each player’s appearances with his current team over the past year, including playoffs.
| Player & prop | Odds | When DET wins / GB loses | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jahmyr Gibbs 80+ rushing yards |
−238 | 85.7% 6 of 7 Lions wins |
40.0% 6 of 15 games |
| Sam LaPorta Under 5.5 catches |
−146 | 100.0% 4 of 4 Lions wins |
57.1% 4 of 7 games |
| Jordan Love 36+ passing attempts |
−192 | 85.7% 6 of 7 Packers losses |
50.0% 8 of 16 games |
Jahmyr Gibbs: 80+ rushing yards
Gibbs’ 80+ rushing yards line is −238. His six hits in seven Lions wins compare with six of 15 appearances overall: every 80-yard game in this sample came in a victory.
All three wins this season cleared it, at 156, 99 and 151 yards. The two defeats brought 52 and 46. The older winning miss was a 43-yard outing in December.
That makes this a particularly clear historical association, without proving that a Lions win will produce the same workload. Detroit can win through the passing game, and Gibbs’ catches don’t count toward an 80-yard rushing requirement.
Sam LaPorta: under 5.5 catches
LaPorta’s under 5.5 catches is −146. He has stayed below six catches in all four Lions wins he played in over the past year, compared with four of seven appearances overall.
The three wins this season produced five, three and five catches. In the latest one, those five receptions still became 88 yards. You don’t have to expect an unproductive LaPorta game to consider this under.
His two losses this season went over, at six and eight catches. The contrast fits the result-based comparison, but four winning appearances remain a small sample after he missed the end of 2025 with a back injury.
Gibbs and LaPorta share Detroit’s offense, so today’s mix of runs and targets matters to both. Their separate winning records don’t supply a joint chance of success.
Jordan Love: 36+ passing attempts
Love’s 36+ passing attempts line is −192. He has reached 36 attempts in six of the seven Packers losses he played in over the past year, compared with eight of 16 appearances overall.
Green Bay’s two defeats this season brought 42 and 53 attempts. The recent counterexample to a simple win/loss story came last week: Love threw 41 times in a Packers victory over Dallas.
The older losing-game miss was a 13-attempt outing in Chicago that he left with a concussion. That appearance remains part of the record.
For a Detroit-win view that still leaves Green Bay active through the air, this is an attempt requirement rather than a bet on Love’s efficiency. Jacobs’ return is another reason to check how you expect the Packers to distribute their plays.
Lions parlay picks: choosing your support
Gibbs supplies the rushing option with the sharpest winning split, LaPorta offers a lighter-priced catch under from a smaller sample, and Love gives you a route through Packers losses.
Compare the actual requirements as well as the percentages. LaPorta can gain yards without six catches, and Love can throw 36 times without playing badly. The support should fit the Detroit game you have in mind.
