Lions Parlay Picks vs. Vikings: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Detroit got production on the ground and through the air in its 20–17 win over Green Bay: Jahmyr Gibbs ran for 116 yards, and Jared Goff threw two touchdown passes. Gibbs has topped 88.5 rushing yards in every Lions win this season. Goff has thrown at least two touchdowns in each of those four wins, too, though their records look different once you include the losses.

If you’re backing Detroit to hand unbeaten Minnesota its first loss, these Lions parlay picks offer a choice: Gibbs piling up rushing yards or Goff finishing drives through the air. Their recent wins give you examples of both contributions. You can choose the one that fits your view of a Lions win without needing to add the other.

Lions parlay picks: rushing yards or passing scores?

The table covers Detroit’s six games this season through October 25, including four wins. It includes every game in which Gibbs carried the ball or Goff attempted a pass, respectively; each all-game comparison uses that same rule.

These individual DraftKings prices were captured November 1 and can change. Four wins are a small sample. As the older games below show, Detroit has also won with either player falling short of these requests.

Jahmyr Gibbs — Over 88.5 rushing yards (−114)

Gibbs’ four winning rushing totals this season are 156, 99, 151 and 116 yards. His two losing totals are 52 against Buffalo and 46 against Carolina. That’s the clearest distinction here: the rushing requirement has separated Detroit’s wins from its losses in this short season, rather than simply clearing every week.

The workload supports looking at the ground game. Gibbs had twenty-nine carries in the opening win over New Orleans, twenty against the Jets, twenty-five against Arizona and twenty-nine against Green Bay. The two defeats brought sixteen and fifteen carries. That’s the sort of workload you’d want behind this rushing line. It fits a game in which Detroit keeps turning to Gibbs, without telling us how often it will do so against Minnesota.

Gibbs is first on the running-back depth chart, with Sione Vaki second and Isiah Pacheco on injured reserve with a back injury. His recent 151- and 116-yard games came on twenty-five and twenty-nine carries. Both defeats still gave him at least fifteen carries, so involvement alone hasn’t been enough to reach this line.

Eighty rushing yards is available at −167. It cleared the same four wins and four games overall this season, so the extra cost doesn’t buy another current-season clear. The 88.5 line at −114 keeps a little more return while still sitting below the lowest winning total, the 99 yards against the Jets.

One hundred yards changes the picture. At +136, it would have missed that Jets win, leaving three of four wins and three of six appearances. The difference between the prices therefore comes with a specific recent example: Gibbs can be productive, handle twenty carries and help Detroit win while finishing a yard short of a hundred.

The longer record is less flattering. Across his Detroit rushing appearances since August 1, 2025, Gibbs exceeded 88.5 yards in nine of thirteen Lions wins and nine of twenty-three games overall. That broader history includes winning-game misses, so the four-for-four start is a recent pattern rather than a durable rule. In the January 4 win over Chicago, for example, he had nineteen carries for eighty yards and missed this requirement.

If your Lions-win view depends on repeated chances on the ground, compare the main rushing line with the more expensive eighty-yard alternative. The lower request gives you room for a finish from eighty to eighty-eight yards, even though it didn’t change the result in any of these six games.

Jared Goff — 2+ passing touchdowns (−131)

Goff’s passing-touchdown totals in Detroit’s four wins are two, two, three and two. He has also cleared two in one of the losses, throwing four against Buffalo. Unlike Gibbs’ rushing line, this option hasn’t been confined to wins: it has cleared five of six games overall.

The Carolina loss shows the limitation better than a quiet passing afternoon would. Goff threw for 412 yards on fifty-two attempts, yet finished with one touchdown pass in the 32–26 defeat. Plenty of attempts and yardage don’t ensure that a second drive ends with a passing score.

His latest two games provide more encouraging scoring evidence: three touchdown passes against Arizona and two against Green Bay. The Green Bay game required thirty-two attempts for 303 yards. He’s the expected starting quarterback, with no current injury designation, but the touchdown selection still depends on how Detroit finishes drives rather than passing volume alone.

The offer here is Over 1.5 passing touchdowns at −131, meaning at least two touchdown passes. The separate two-touchdown milestone was −134 when checked. They ask for the same count; the paired over offered the lighter price in this snapshot. This is passing touchdowns, not a requirement that Goff personally run for or catch a touchdown.

One passing touchdown costs much more at −820 and has cleared all six games this season. It would have kept the Carolina game. Three passing touchdowns is +294, but it has cleared just one of the four wins and two of the six games overall. Three of Detroit’s wins stopped at exactly two Goff touchdown passes, which makes the step up more consequential than the plus price alone suggests.

Older games again weaken the perfect winning column. Across his Detroit passing appearances since August 1, 2025, two touchdown passes cleared nine of thirteen wins and fifteen of twenty-three games overall. In the January 4 victory over Chicago, Goff threw for 331 yards on forty-two attempts but had only one touchdown pass. Detroit can win with a productive passing game and still leave this selection short.

At −131, the appeal is asking for the two scores that have been common this season without paying the much heavier one-touchdown price. It doesn’t require a particular receiver to score, and it doesn’t ask Goff to repeat his four-touchdown Buffalo game. The risk is that Detroit gets its points another way, including through the running game you’re considering with Gibbs.

Choose the contribution that fits your Lions view

If you expect Detroit to keep Gibbs busy on the ground, the rushing line has the stronger contrast between this season’s wins and losses. If you expect two drives to finish through the air, Goff offers a passing option with a broader current-season record of clearing even outside wins. The older Chicago win is the reminder that neither contribution has to reach the requested total for Detroit to get the result.

You can choose either without adding both. Combining them with Detroit to win calls for the sportsbook’s actual same-game parlay quote: the same offense supplies their opportunities, and separate historical percentages don’t establish a combined success rate.
