A Utah win doesn’t have to mean a quiet night for every Montreal player. Lane Hutson has put at least two shots on goal in five of the Canadiens’ six losses this season. On the other side, Clayton Keller’s passing and Mikhail Sergachev’s scoring contributions have shown up regularly in Mammoth wins.
These Mammoth parlay picks explore that Utah-win scenario for Thursday’s visit to the Bell Centre. We look at Keller’s assists and Sergachev’s points in Utah wins, then Hutson’s shots in Montreal losses. They offer different ways to support the same view of the game, with individual DraftKings prices and the limits of those early-season samples below.
Mammoth parlay picks: two Utah contributors and a Montreal shot option
The records cover this season’s completed regular-season appearances with each player’s current club. There are only ten Utah wins and six Montreal losses to compare; the all-game column covers the same dates and participation rules.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clayton Keller Over 0.5 assists |

75.0% 12 of 16 appearances |
| Mikhail Sergachev Over 0.5 points |
−165 | 90.0% 9 of 10 UTA wins |
81.3% 13 of 16 appearances |
| Lane Hutson Over 1.5 shots on goal |
−115 | 83.3% 5 of 6 MTL losses |
53.3% 8 of 15 appearances |
Clayton Keller: Over 0.5 assists
Keller assisted on all three Utah goals in Tuesday’s 3–2 win at Toronto. That followed two assists in the loss at Philadelphia, so his passing has been productive even when the Mammoth haven’t won. His expected first-line role gives this option a clear place in a Utah-win story without requiring him to score himself.
The assist over at −120 is considerably lighter than his point over at −215. The extra cost buys a goal as another way to succeed: Keller scored twice without an assist in Utah’s 4–2 win over Edmonton on October 15. That was his only assist miss in the Mammoth’s ten wins this season, and it shows exactly what you give up by choosing the cheaper passing target.
The current record is stronger than his longer Utah history. Since October 1, 2025, he has recorded an assist in 37 of 53 wins and 54 of 98 appearances overall. Keep that less convincing comparison in mind before treating nine of ten as his usual level. This is the lower-priced route for readers who specifically expect Keller to help create a goal.
Mikhail Sergachev: Over 0.5 points
Sergachev supplied two assists in the same Toronto win, despite finishing with only one shot on goal. For a defenseman who can contribute through either scoring or passing, a point offers a different target from asking him to keep shooting.
His point over is −165, compared with −190 for over 1.5 shots. Both have hit in nine of Utah’s ten wins this season, but they haven’t succeeded in the same games. Toronto delivered the point and missed the shots; the October 15 Edmonton win delivered two shots and no point. The lower point price is useful if you expect his contribution to come through the scoresheet rather than shot volume.
He’s listed on Utah’s first defense pair, but minutes alone haven’t guaranteed production. That Edmonton blank came in 24:42 of ice time. His broader current-club record also softens the early-season case: a point in 38 of 51 wins and 56 of 94 appearances since October 1, 2025. Keller and Sergachev can contribute on the same goal, so their separate records shouldn’t be treated as independent chances.
Lane Hutson: Over 1.5 shots on goal
Hutson gives a Utah backer an option that doesn’t ask Montreal to disappear offensively. His two-shot target has been more common in Canadiens losses than across his appearances overall this season. It’s a modest volume target at −115, rather than a requirement that he finish a chance or earn an assist.
The latest loss is also the exception: Hutson had one shot in Tuesday’s 5–4 defeat to Winnipeg, despite recording an assist and playing 24:14. Before that game, he had finished with exactly one shot in each of Montreal’s previous four games. That recent run matters more than a bare five-of-six record might suggest.
Montreal’s expected first-pair defenseman has a much weaker longer shot record, too: two or more in 24 of 40 losses and 47 of 97 appearances since October 1, 2025. The small current losing-game sample makes this a more tentative choice. His assist over is −120, but the shot target at −115 avoids needing a teammate to finish; the Winnipeg game shows why those two options can still land differently.

Choose the contribution you expect
Keller’s assist is the lighter-priced Utah scoring option. Sergachev’s point gives you both a goal and an assist as routes to success, while Hutson’s shots fit a Montreal player staying involved in a defeat. Hutson’s recent one-shot run is a good reason to be selective rather than add him simply to lengthen a parlay.
