Oilers Parlay Picks vs. Devils: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Connor McDavid scored and set up a goal against the Rangers on Sunday. Against New Jersey, DraftKings charged much less for an assist than for any point. If you expect him to create a goal with a pass, that gap matters.

These Oilers parlay picks start with a hypothetical Edmonton win. McDavid’s assist backs a contribution from the Oilers, while Arseny Gritsyuk’s under asks Edmonton to keep a Devils forward off the scoresheet. DraftKings listed Edmonton at +130 Tuesday morning. Prices can change.

Two scoring markets to compare with the Oilers moneyline

McDavid needs an assist, while a goal or an assist would beat Gritsyuk’s under. The table compares games that match the Edmonton-win premise with each player’s full record for his current club across this season and last.

Connor McDavid 1+ assist (−220)

McDavid had an assist in 46 of 54 Edmonton wins and 71 of 103 appearances overall. He’s recorded one in all 15 games this season, including 11 Oilers wins. The broader split gives the Edmonton-win angle some support even after allowing for how well he’s started this season.

Sunday’s goal and assist against the Rangers show how he can contribute in more than one way. This offer counts the setup only. In a late-season Edmonton win over Seattle, McDavid scored without an assist. He also played 24:50 without recording an assist in a playoff win over Anaheim.

At −220, you’re paying for one setup from Edmonton’s projected top-line center. DraftKings also listed him at −475 to record a point, which would let a goal count. The price gap matters if you think his likeliest contribution will come from setting up a teammate.

Arseny Gritsyuk under 0.5 points (−145)

Gritsyuk finished without a point in 32 of 38 Devils losses and 47 of 80 games overall. His current numbers are less convincing. He’s gone scoreless in three of five New Jersey losses and five of 14 appearances overall this season.

Friday’s win over Vegas is the most recent reminder of what can go wrong. He scored twice, put eight shots on goal and played 17:48. He’s projected to skate alongside Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt. A single finish or a setup beats this under.

The −145 quote is cheaper than McDavid’s assist. The longer loss sample supports a look, but his recent numbers make the under a closer call. If you expect his line to get chances even in a Devils loss, the lower price may not be enough to sway you.

Decide which scoring route fits your view

If your Edmonton-win case starts with McDavid setting up teammates, the assist is the more direct choice. Gritsyuk’s under fits a view where Edmonton also limits his line. You can take either route individually. The table shows what each costs on its own.
