Oilers Parlay Picks vs. Flames: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Connor McDavid has recorded an assist in every appearance this season, but the more useful question for Oilers parlay picks is how his playmaking has held up when Edmonton wins. His one-assist milestone and Leon Draisaitl’s one-point target both have substantial support in that setting.

Side & Support Parlay Plays takes a chosen winner—in this case Edmonton—and looks at player options to compare around it. These are two ways to use the Oilers’ scoring talent, with different prices and different ways to miss. The Calgary–Edmonton matchup page follows the game itself.

Two player options for an Oilers win

Player / prop DraftKings odds In Oilers wins All appearances
Connor McDavid: 1+ assist -280 84.3% (43/51) 68.0% (68/100)
Leon Draisaitl: 1+ point -500 87.8% (36/41) 83.1% (69/83)

Records cover each player’s current-team appearances from the start of the 2025–26 season through October 27, 2026, including postseason games where played. Only completed games with ice time and the relevant statistic count; zero-stat games remain included. DraftKings individual prices were checked October 28 and can change. These historical records describe past games, not future probabilities or a quoted parlay payout.

Connor McDavid: 1+ assist

McDavid’s latest five assist totals were 3, 3, 3, 2 and 1. He’s reached one in all 12 appearances this season, including all eight Edmonton wins. That recent consistency supports the expected first-line center’s playmaking case, while the broader win record keeps the argument from resting only on a hot October.

DraftKings offers 1+ assist at -280 and 2+ at +160. For a $100 stake, that’s $35.71 in profit versus $160 if successful. Two assists would have cleared in four of those five recent games, but the latest one-assist result shows exactly what you give up for the larger return.

An Edmonton win can also come through McDavid’s own finishing. He had a three-goal, zero-assist win in January, and another win in last season’s playoffs brought no points despite 24:50 of ice time. Those are part of the eight misses in 51 sampled wins. A strong offensive night and a winning result still don’t settle an assist prop.

Leon Draisaitl: 1+ point

Draisaitl offers two ways to clear his target: a goal or an assist. His last five point totals were 2, 2, 5, 2 and 1; the latest came from an assist with no goal. He’s produced a point in 11 of 12 games this season and seven of Edmonton’s eight wins, with an expected first-line role.

The exception matters. Draisaitl went scoreless in Edmonton’s October 10 win despite playing 21:49 and recording three shots. It’s one of five scoreless wins in the full sample. The current-season form is strong, but a win hasn’t always required his name on the scoresheet.

At -500, one point earns $20 profit on a successful $100 stake. The actual 2+ points alternative is -110, worth $90.91 in profit on the same stake, but it would have lost on his latest one-point game. The lower target buys room for either a single helper or a single goal, at a much smaller payout.

Playmaking or a broader scoring target?

McDavid’s assist milestone pays more; Draisaitl’s point milestone has the stronger historical record in Edmonton wins and accepts either kind of scoring contribution. Both depend on Oilers goals and can overlap on the same play. Treat them as related choices: their separate records don’t establish a future or combined success probability, and any combined price needs to come from the sportsbook.
