Thunder Parlay Picks vs. Cavaliers: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Cleveland lost its opener to Philadelphia despite getting 32 points from Donovan Mitchell and 16 from James Harden. If you’re backing Oklahoma City tonight, that’s a useful place to start: a Thunder win can leave room for both Cavaliers guards to keep scoring.

These Thunder parlay picks use a hypothetical Oklahoma City moneyline win, quoted at +150 by DraftKings at 7:14 a.m. EST on November 2. Oklahoma City visits Cleveland at Rocket Arena on Monday, November 2, at 7 p.m. EST. The supporting choices are Harden to score at least 15 points and Mitchell to score at least 18. Side & Support compares those individual targets with Cleveland’s losses and each player’s broader Cavaliers record, so you can choose the scoring requirement that fits your view of the game.

Oklahoma City is missing Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace. That makes tonight’s Thunder rotation different from many of the games behind the records. The options below focus on Cleveland’s scorers, rather than assuming Oklahoma City’s usual supporting cast will have its usual workload.

Thunder parlay picks: two Cavaliers scoring options

The records cover each player’s Cleveland appearances from the start of the 2025–26 season through Saturday, including the playoffs. Harden’s games for other teams are excluded. The losing-game and all-game columns use the same period and participation rules. DraftKings odds are a November 2 morning snapshot and can change.

James Harden: 15+ points at −287

Harden offers the lower scoring target and the lighter price of these two options. He scored 16 in the Philadelphia loss and 24 when Cleveland lost 114–111 to Atlanta. Those are only two defeats this season, but both show how his scoring can survive a Cavaliers loss.

Harden’s losing-game and overall rates are nearly identical. The case is that his scoring often holds up when Cleveland loses, with a 15-point target leaving room for more modest nights.

The next step up is a real choice. DraftKings quotes 18 or more points at −138, compared with −287 for 15. Harden reached 18 in 12 of those same 19 losses, four fewer than cleared 15. The lower target leaves room for a night like the opener; the higher one offers more profit per dollar risked while asking for another three points.

His latest game is the reminder that 15 still requires work. Harden scored 13 in 26 minutes when Cleveland beat Milwaukee 136–111, after playing 33 to 39 minutes in each of his first five games. He’s reached 15 in four of six appearances this season, so his two successful losing games shouldn’t stand in for an unbroken scoring run.

A Cavaliers defeat doesn’t guarantee more scoring from him, either. Harden had 12 points in 33 minutes in their 130–93 playoff loss to New York on May 25, 2026. If your Thunder-win view also depends on Oklahoma City shutting down Cleveland’s guards, this scoring over may not fit that view. Its appeal is leaving room for Harden to contribute while the Cavaliers lose elsewhere.

Donovan Mitchell: 18+ points at −331

Mitchell asks for three more points than Harden at a steeper price. Alongside his 32 against Philadelphia, he scored 22 in the Atlanta defeat. Those two current losses both cleared 18, and he’s done so in five of his six games this season.

Mitchell’s overall record at 18 points is slightly stronger than his record in losses. His scoring has often held up in defeat, but a Cavaliers loss hasn’t made this target easier to reach.

Moving to 20 or more points brings the DraftKings price down to −214. Mitchell reached that target in 27 of the same 37 Cleveland losses, versus 30 for 18 points. The extra two points aren’t an enormous jump on the scoreboard, but they did separate three losing-game clears in this history. Choose whether the smaller requirement is worth the heavier price to you.

Milwaukee supplied his latest miss as well as Harden’s. Mitchell finished with 15 points in 24 minutes, his shortest appearance of the season. A shorter night can beat either scoring target. A longer one can, too: he scored 15 in 33 minutes in Cleveland’s playoff loss to Toronto on April 23, 2026. Neither miss disappears because the broader losing-game record looks useful.

Mitchell gives you a different scorer to back, but taking him with Harden also puts more of your ticket behind Cleveland’s backcourt producing enough offense. Their individual records don’t show how often both targets landed together in the same Cavaliers loss.

Leave room for Cleveland to score

Harden is the lower target at the lower cost; Mitchell has the stronger scoring run across this season’s six games, at the higher cost. Both let you back Oklahoma City without needing every Cleveland scorer to struggle.

You can choose one rather than take both. The separate historical rates aren’t a combined success probability, and a sportsbook can adjust the price of related selections.
