Pelicans Parlay Picks vs. Nuggets: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Saddiq Bey totaled 21 points, rebounds and assists off the bench in New Orleans’ 141–135 loss to Denver. Zion Williamson scored 17 points, while Christian Braun scored 15 for the Nuggets without making a three-pointer. Those different contributions make the rematch worth examining through specific player requirements as well as the final score.

For Wednesday’s home rematch with Denver, these Pelicans parlay picks begin with a hypothetical New Orleans win and compare Bey’s combined production, Williamson’s 15+ points and Braun’s three-point under. New Orleans was +164 on the moneyline in the DraftKings reference snapshot. These are individual supporting choices rather than a prescribed three-leg parlay.

Three player options around a Pelicans win

The table uses actual appearances for each player’s current club from the previous season through the completed games of this season, with postseason appearances included where available. Each overall baseline matches its conditional record’s dates, team and participation. New Orleans is 0–3 this season, so the Pelicans-win records below all come from the previous season; the current games provide role and production checks, not new wins validating those patterns.

Odds are individual DraftKings snapshots and can change. Williamson’s 15+ points is an actual inclusive milestone: exactly 15 succeeds. The two other markets use half-point lines. These are historical frequencies, not forecasts or the probability of combining the selections.

Saddiq Bey: over 16.5 points, rebounds and assists at −111

Bey reached at least 17 combined points, rebounds and assists in all 24 Pelicans wins in this sample, against 63 of 75 New Orleans appearances overall (84.0%). The perfect win record describes those past appearances. It does not mean the next Pelicans win must include the same contribution, and there has not yet been a current-season win to test that connection.

His first three combined totals this season were 18, 24 and 21. In the previous Denver meeting, 14 points, four rebounds and three assists added up to 21 in 25 minutes. The scoring requirement is flexible: rebounds and assists count toward the same total, so this market does not demand that he score 17 points himself.

The workload change is the main limitation. Bey averaged about 31 minutes per appearance in the previous-season Pelicans sample, compared with 24, 22 and 25 minutes this season. He is currently listed among the expected bench options. The three current hits show that the offered threshold has remained reachable in that smaller workload; they do not make the older win sample directly interchangeable with his present role.

At −111, the combined over gives a different route from his 12+ points milestone at +106. Points alone carry that latter requirement, while the selected market allows rebounding and passing to help but raises the total needed. They are related alternatives, not independent evidence for adding two Bey selections. Check the rotation, including Jordan Poole’s probable listing with an illness, before assuming Bey’s minutes will repeat.

Zion Williamson: 15+ points at −279

Williamson scored at least 15 points in 19 of 22 Pelicans wins (86.4%), compared with 54 of 65 New Orleans appearances overall (83.1%). The baseline is close to the win record. This is a scoring requirement that often remained attainable while New Orleans won, rather than a claim that winning produces a large improvement in his chance of reaching it.

He has scored 22, 23 and 17 points this season in 32, 33 and 33 minutes. His 17 in the earlier Denver meeting cleared the 15+ milestone but fell short of an 18+ points requirement. That recent example makes the actual threshold choice useful without needing to predict a large scoring night.

His three misses in Pelicans wins were nine points in 21 minutes, four in an 11-minute appearance, and 14 in 28 minutes. The record includes both shortened games. A normal workload is not a guarantee either, as the 28-minute miss shows.

Williamson is the expected starting power forward and has no current injury flag in the matchup context. The 15+ milestone at −279 gives a shorter individual return than his 18+ offer at −137, in exchange for the lower scoring hurdle. It also differs from the main over 18.5 points line, where 19 are needed. Choose the exact requirement that fits your expectation for his role, while recognizing the price of that extra room.

Christian Braun: under 1.5 made three-pointers at −193

Braun made no more than one three-pointer in 18 of 21 Denver losses (85.7%) and 41 of 53 Denver appearances overall (77.4%) in the matched sample. The market counts made threes, not attempts or total points. It can succeed even when Braun contributes through drives, cuts or free throws.

His three-point results this season were 1-for-6 against Oklahoma City, 0-for-3 against New Orleans, and 1-for-4 against Golden State. All three stayed under, including both Denver losses. In the Pelicans meeting, he scored 15 points in 40 minutes despite the zero made threes. A total-points under would ask a different question from the selected shooting market.

Those attempts are also the caution. He has taken at least three threes in every current game, and two makes would beat the under. His current minutes of 33, 40 and 34 exceed his previous-season average of about 32. Cameron Johnson is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury, leaving Denver’s wing rotation uncertain; more opportunity could matter even though recent makes have stayed low.

Braun is an expected starting guard without a current injury flag. At −193, the under offers a specific way to allow him meaningful playing time and scoring while limiting one part of his production. The longer loss record is useful context, but it does not promise another quiet perimeter result.

Choosing the supporting requirement

Bey’s combined over offers several ways to reach 17, with reduced current minutes the key qualification to his older win record. Williamson’s 15+ points isolates scoring at a lower hurdle and a shorter return. Braun’s three-point under permits a productive overall game while requiring him to stay at one make or fewer from outside.

All three requirements were met in New Orleans’ previous loss to Denver. That makes them compatible with more than one game result, not proof that they predict an upset or succeed together. Their separate histories do not establish independence or a combined parlay price. Recheck the current lines, prices and expected personnel before choosing the individual option that fits your view.
