Michael Misa scored San Jose’s only goal in Saturday’s 5–1 loss to Ottawa. He finished without an assist. For a Flames supporter, that’s the appeal of an assist under: a Sharks player can get on the scoresheet without beating that particular target.
These Flames parlay picks start with a hypothetical Calgary win at SAP Center on Monday, November 2. Puck drop is 9 p.m. Eastern, and DraftKings quoted Calgary at +105. The three supporting options focus on San Jose production: Macklin Celebrini under 1.5 points, Misa without an assist, or Mason Marchment without an assist.
Celebrini and Misa have broader Sharks records across the previous and current seasons. Marchment’s sample is all 15 of his San Jose appearances this season. Each option is compared in Sharks losses and across all of the same eligible games, so you can see what the team-result filter adds—and where it adds very little.
Flames parlay picks: three San Jose unders
A point means a goal or an assist. Celebrini can finish with one point and still clear his under; the assist targets leave a goal harmless for Misa or Marchment. These are individual DraftKings prices, not a quoted three-leg combination.

75.0% (45/60) |
| Mason Marchment Under 0.5 assists All 15 current-season Sharks appearances |
−210 | 87.5% (7/8) Sharks losses |
86.7% (13/15) |
Macklin Celebrini: under 1.5 points (−170)
This target gives Celebrini room for one contribution. A single goal or assist leaves him under 1.5 points, while two assists—or a goal and an assist—defeat it. That distinction matters for San Jose’s projected first-line center, who is averaging about 22.7 minutes this season.
The longer record is stronger than the current one. Celebrini has stayed below two points in five of his seven losing appearances this season and eight of 13 games overall. Those current results are less convincing than the broader loss-sample percentage in the table, even though his last few games have been quieter.
In the October 24 loss to Boston, he had one assist, then no points against Buffalo. A single assist in the Vancouver win also stayed below this target, followed by no points in the latest Ottawa loss. He doesn’t need to be shut out, and San Jose doesn’t need to lose, for this under to land.
The Detroit game is the counterexample to keep in view. Celebrini had a goal and two assists in a 4–3 defeat, playing 26:54. His team lost, but his three points comfortably beat the under. At −170, this is a bet that Calgary can hold his individual contribution below a multi-point night, with the price and his top-line workload both part of the decision.
Michael Misa: under 0.5 assists (−425)
Misa’s latest game puts the target in plain terms: his goal against Ottawa counted toward his points, but he had no assist. He also scored without an assist in the earlier loss to Boston. Both games would have spoiled a no-point bet while leaving the no-assist target intact.
DraftKings offered Misa without a point at −220. That broader scoring limit has landed in 24 of the same 34 Sharks losses and 35 of 60 appearances overall. Removing the goal risk is costly: the assist-only under is −425, with five more losing-game hits in that same history.
His current season broadly supports the longer pattern, with no assist in seven of eight San Jose losses and 11 of 15 games overall. The exception came against Edmonton, when he assisted on the Sharks’ goal in a 3–1 defeat. He played 12:44 that day, showing that this target can miss without a particularly heavy workload.
Misa is projected at second-line center and is averaging about 13.6 minutes this season. One successful setup is all it takes to defeat the bet. The appeal is the narrower requirement, but −425 asks a lot in price terms; if that cost outweighs the extra room for a goal, Marchment’s offer provides a less expensive assist comparison.
Mason Marchment: under 0.5 assists (−210)
Marchment has finished without an assist in seven of San Jose’s eight losses and 13 of 15 appearances overall. It’s been a common outcome in both Sharks wins and losses, with only 15 games to judge.
The no-point offer was −110, with six hits in eight Sharks losses and 10 in 15 games overall. The difference between the markets showed up in the Toronto defeat, when Marchment scored a goal without an assist. The no-point bet would have missed; the assist under would have landed.
He has supplied assists, too. Marchment assisted in the 6–4 loss to Boston, then had a goal and an assist in the more recent 3–2 win over Vancouver. Those are his two assist games in this San Jose sample. His latest Ottawa game ended with no assist in 14:38.
He’s averaging about 15.9 minutes and is projected on the second line with Misa and Kiefer Sherwood. Those regular minutes give him opportunities to set up teammates. At −210, you’re paying less than for Misa’s assist under, but comparing 15 Sharks appearances with 60.
Choose the limit you want to put on San Jose
Celebrini’s under leaves room for one point from the Sharks’ top center. The two assist unders leave goals harmless, with a clear price difference between Misa and Marchment. Marchment is the cheaper assist option, but his short sample and nearly identical all-game record matter when weighing it.
Misa and Marchment are projected linemates, so their opportunities are related. Treat the two assist markets as choices to compare before adding exposure to the same line. The separate historical hit rates do not establish a combined probability.
