Predators Parlay Picks vs. Avalanche: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Nashville beat Carolina without a point from Ryan O’Reilly, even as Filip Forsberg supplied two assists and Roman Josi added a goal and an assist. If you’re backing the Predators in Colorado, that’s a useful distinction: a Nashville win can bring production from several familiar names without delivering every supporting prop.

For these Predators parlay picks, Nashville’s wins guide the comparison for O’Reilly, Forsberg and Josi. Colorado’s losses provide the other side of the picture, with Martin Necas’s under 1.5 points allowing him one scoring contribution. You can choose the players and contributions that fit your view of a Nashville win.

O’Reilly’s row covers Nashville regular-season games since October 1, 2025. The other rows cover this regular season with each player’s current club. Six Nashville wins and seven Colorado losses are small samples, with weaker older comparisons discussed below.

Ryan O’Reilly over 0.5 points

O’Reilly’s scoreless game against Carolina was his first miss in a Nashville win this season. He played 19:23 but didn’t record a shot, so the Predators’ 4–1 victory supplied neither a goal nor an assist for him. That’s a more useful check on this option than assuming the win will take care of it.

The earlier Colorado meeting showed the other extreme: O’Reilly had two goals and two assists in Nashville’s 6–2 win. He also assisted in the subsequent victory over Tampa Bay. A point gives you credit for scoring or helping on a goal, rather than requiring another big night like the one against the Avalanche.

At −185, this is the more expensive Nashville scoring option in the table. Its support also reaches further back: he had a point in 30 of 37 Predators wins last regular season, before this season’s five of six. He’s the projected first-line center, but the Carolina game shows why both his regular role and a Nashville win can still leave the point missing.

Filip Forsberg over 0.5 assists

Forsberg has supplied two assists in each of Nashville’s last two wins, against Tampa Bay and Carolina. He also had two when the Predators beat Colorado. If you expect Nashville’s forwards to keep finishing the chances he helps create, his assist is an option at a plus price.

DraftKings offered +115 for an assist: a $100 individual stake would earn $115 profit. His point was −170, requiring $170 for $100 profit. The point accepts a goal as well, which matters: Forsberg scored twice without an assist in the recent Washington loss. Both offers have landed in five of Nashville’s six wins this season, but they don’t ask for the same contribution.

The win over Dallas early in the season was his assist miss. The larger check is last regular season, when he had an assist in 20 of 38 Predators wins and 30 of 82 appearances overall. His recent passing production is the reason to consider the current run; that older record is far less persuasive than five of six sounds on its own.

Roman Josi over 0.5 assists

Josi had three assists in the earlier win over Colorado, and he returned to the scoresheet with a goal and an assist against Carolina. The preceding win over Tampa Bay is the warning: he took five shots but finished without a point in that 5–4 victory.

The assist was +105, while his over 0.5 points was −125. Choosing the assist gives you the larger payout, but it means a Josi goal alone won’t do. It’s a choice about his passing contribution from the projected top defensive pair, rather than a bet that any productive offensive night will be enough.

Last regular season, Josi recorded an assist in 20 of 35 Nashville wins and 32 of 68 appearances overall. This season’s stronger run is worth comparing, but the Tampa Bay miss and older record keep it from being a routine expectation. Their assists also draw on the same Nashville goals, so there’s no reason to treat the two histories as independent.

Martin Necas under 1.5 points

Necas has gone scoreless in three of Colorado’s last four games, including the latest loss at Columbus. This under allows one point, so he could still get a goal or an assist without spoiling it.

But Nashville already saw the miss in this season’s Colorado-loss record. Necas had two assists in the Avalanche’s 6–2 defeat in the previous meeting. He also had a goal and an assist in the recent win over Calgary. Backing the Predators doesn’t require him to be quiet, and a second scoring contribution is enough to defeat the under.

DraftKings offered −230, requiring a $230 individual stake for $100 profit—the highest cost in this table. He’s projected on Colorado’s first line, so the case is for keeping him below two points while he plays a regular role. He stayed below two in 20 of 26 Colorado losses last regular season, compared with six of seven this season. That older record is weaker, while the previous Nashville meeting is a particularly relevant exception.

Pick the scoring route you want

O’Reilly’s point has the longer Nashville record and accepts either a goal or an assist. If you prefer Forsberg or Josi’s plus-priced assist, you’re choosing a more specific contribution backed by a shorter current run. Necas’s under is costlier and has already missed against this opponent. You don’t need all four, and their separate records don’t establish a combined success rate or a sportsbook parlay quote.
