Ducks Parlay Picks vs. Penguins: Side & Support Parlay Plays

A goal has made the difference between Jackson LaCombe’s point and assist offers once in Anaheim’s wins this season. He scored without an assist against Calgary; in the other eight Ducks wins, he supplied at least one assist. If you’re backing Anaheim against Pittsburgh, that extra way to contribute is worth comparing with the price.

For these Ducks parlay picks, Side & Support Parlay Plays compares LaCombe, Mikael Granlund and Leo Carlsson in Anaheim wins with their records across all appearances. Each point offer allows a goal or an assist. The choice is whose contribution fits your view of a Ducks win, with different prices and very different amounts of history behind the three options.

Three Ducks parlay picks to compare

LaCombe and Granlund use this season’s Anaheim appearances, with only nine wins behind each row. Carlsson’s row covers the Ducks’ 2025–26 and 2026–27 regular seasons. Individual DraftKings odds were observed Sunday, November 8, and can change.

Jackson LaCombe: 1+ point

LaCombe has contributed a point in each of Anaheim’s seventeen current-season games except two. In the latest four wins, he had an assist against Ottawa, two against Vancouver, then one each against Edmonton and Calgary. That’s production from a defenseman who doesn’t need to put many shots on goal to help the offense.

One point cost −185, compared with −140 for an assist. The cheaper offer covered eight of nine Anaheim wins and fourteen of seventeen appearances this season; the point covered all nine wins and fifteen appearances. The difference was that October Calgary game, when his goal supplied the point without an assist. Paying for the point keeps both ways of contributing available.

Two points paid +260, but only one of Anaheim’s nine wins and three of seventeen appearances this season reached that mark. Eight of the nine wins finished with exactly one. The larger payout would ask for a very different contribution from the one that has regularly accompanied Ducks wins.

His two current-season blanks came in losses to Calgary and the Rangers, including 27:46 on the ice against Calgary. He’s expected on Anaheim’s first defensive pair, and his latest Edmonton appearance lasted 33:09. Heavy ice time gives him opportunities, but it hasn’t made a point automatic.

The longer record is much less consistent: a point in 37 of 52 Anaheim wins and 64 of 99 appearances across the two regular seasons. He also went without a point in Anaheim’s last two playoff wins over Vegas last spring. The table’s perfect winning record describes this season’s nine games, not a habit that has held every time the Ducks win.

Mikael Granlund: 1+ point

Granlund has seven points across Anaheim’s latest four wins: an assist against Ottawa, a goal and two assists against Vancouver, an assist against Edmonton, then two assists against Calgary. That recent involvement gives his point offer some support beyond the winning-game percentage.

A point cost −180, while one assist was +100. The assist offer covered seven of nine Ducks wins and nine of sixteen appearances this season; a point covered eight wins and eleven appearances. His goal without an assist against Florida is the extra winning game you get by allowing either kind of contribution.

Two points paid +265 and covered four of the nine wins and four of sixteen appearances overall. Vancouver and the latest Calgary game reached it, but Ottawa and Edmonton finished with one point each. There’s a clear difference between asking him to get involved once and needing a multi-point night.

His current winning miss came against Philadelphia: no point and one shot in 21:42. That wasn’t a night cut short by a lack of ice time. He has sixteen recorded appearances with Anaheim this season, and his expected place is at center on the second line.

As with LaCombe, the longer history challenges the current picture. Granlund recorded a point in only 23 of 35 Ducks wins and 36 of 74 appearances across the two regular seasons. Last spring he was also pointless in three of Anaheim’s six playoff wins. You’re considering his current-season contribution and recent form, rather than treating eight of nine as his established career pattern.

Leo Carlsson: 1+ point

Carlsson costs more at −245, but his winning-game record has a larger foundation: 43 Anaheim wins across the two regular seasons. He recorded a point in 36 of them. That is a little below eighty-five percent, and it gives you more winning games to examine than the nine behind the other two rows.

He has eight points in Anaheim’s latest four wins. Three assists against Ottawa and two against Edmonton sit alongside goals against Vancouver and Calgary, with another assist in the Calgary game. Those nights show why a point gives him more routes than an assist alone.

One assist cost −130 and covered thirty of the 43 wins and forty of 87 appearances overall. Two points paid +185 and covered 22 wins and 28 appearances. Both offer a larger potential payout, but they demand a more specific or larger contribution than one point. Carlsson can score without an assist, as he did in the Vancouver win.

His only current-season winning blank was against Winnipeg, with one shot in 16:25. There are older reminders, too: he had no point in a win over Pittsburgh last December, and another winning blank against Washington despite seven shots. Even an active shooting night can end without the point you need.

In last spring’s separate playoff games, Carlsson contributed a point in four of Anaheim’s six wins. His expected first-line role offers a recognizable way to support a Ducks-win view, but neither that role nor the longer winning record guarantees he’s involved in the goals.

Choose whose part in a Ducks win you want

LaCombe and Granlund cost less, but their current-season cases come with much weaker older records. Carlsson costs more for the option backed by the larger winning-game sample. They’re alternatives to compare, not a requirement to take all three: every point still needs Anaheim to produce a goal, and their separate records don’t establish the chance of a combination landing.
