Jimmy Snuggerud has scored in six of the Blues’ seven wins this season. If a St. Louis victory is your starting point against Nashville, that’s the clearest scoring pattern to examine—but his last two games also show how quickly a goalscorer bet can come up empty.
The other route in these Blues parlay picks is Mavrik Bourque going without a point. For this Side & Support edition, we’re comparing Snuggerud’s scoring in St. Louis wins with Bourque’s production in Nashville losses. You can judge either prop on its own; the records describe those past results, not the chance that both bets land together.
Blues parlay picks: scoring or a quiet night across the ice
Both comparisons use current-club appearances in the 2026–27 regular season from October 1. These are early samples: seven Blues wins for Snuggerud and six Predators losses with Bourque playing.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jimmy Snuggerud Anytime Goalscorer (1+ goal) |
+200 | 85.7% 6 of 7 STL wins |
43.8% 7 of 16 appearances |
| Mavrik Bourque Under 0.5 points |
−155 | 83.3% 5 of 6 NSH losses |
83.3% 10 of 12 appearances |
Jimmy Snuggerud: anytime goalscorer at +200
Snuggerud gives you the bigger payout of these two choices, but he has to finish a chance himself. An assist won’t do. He scored against Boston and Detroit in St. Louis’ two most recent victories, following another goal in the win over Vegas. Those three goals came on just four shots combined—a productive run of finishing, rather than a barrage of shots on goal.
He’s expected on the Blues’ first line. The opportunity is there, but his latest two outings produced no goals despite about 20 minutes on the ice in each. He also failed to score in the October 13 win over Ottawa, his only miss in this season’s winning-game sample.
The longer view is much less encouraging: from October 2025 onward, he scored in 18 of 39 Blues wins and 25 of 86 appearances overall. That longer record includes this season’s run. The +200 offer is an option for readers who put weight on his recent scoring in wins, with a clear reminder that this season’s six-of-seven run is far stronger than his older St. Louis record.
Mavrik Bourque: under 0.5 points at −155
Bourque’s under takes the opposite approach: you need him to finish without a goal or an assist. He’s gone five straight games without a point, including Nashville’s latest two defeats and its three subsequent wins. A quiet night hasn’t depended on the Predators losing—his all-game rate is the same as his losing-game rate.
That makes this a different kind of support for a Blues-win view. You’re looking at an outcome that has stayed common across Nashville’s results, rather than one that suddenly becomes more frequent in losses. His assist against Toronto on October 6 was the lone exception in the six defeats, and he picked up another helper in the October 25 win over Colorado.
The tradeoff is what you pay to allow a goal: DraftKings had his points under at −155 and his assists under at −275. The assists bet would allow him to score a goal, but he hasn’t scored in any of these 12 Nashville appearances. Paying more for that extra room hasn’t changed the observed records in this small sample.
Bourque is expected alongside Ryan O’Reilly and Steven Stamkos on the first line, so there’s still a real path to a point even after the recent blanks. His last two appearances each included three shots, and he played 17:15 in the latest one. The longer collection adds no older Nashville games for him, leaving those 12 appearances as the whole current-club case.

Choose the route that fits your Blues-win view
Snuggerud is the scoring option if you expect him to help drive a St. Louis win; Bourque’s under is the lower-payout choice if you expect another quiet night from Nashville’s winger. They ask for different things, and you don’t need to combine them. A Blues victory would guarantee neither outcome, and the sportsbook can adjust prices when legs share a game.
