Kansas City beat Denver 31–10 in their first meeting this season with 173 rushing yards from Kenneth Walker III and 184 passing yards from Patrick Mahomes. That is a useful starting point for Chiefs parlay picks: a convincing win can give the lead back plenty of work without requiring a large passing total.
The Chiefs visit Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday, November 1, at 4:25 p.m. EST. For readers building around a hypothetical Kansas City win, the choices below compare a Mahomes passing target, Walker’s carry volume and a Bo Nix carry under. They are individual alternatives with different requirements; their historical hit rates do not establish the chance of a combined parlay.
Chiefs supporting player props
DraftKings offered these lines on Sunday morning. Mahomes and Nix use August 1, 2025 through October 31, 2026, including playoff games where applicable; Walker uses his six Kansas City rushing appearances since August 1, 2026. Mahomes and Walker are measured in Chiefs wins, and Nix in Broncos losses. Each all-games column uses the same player, team, period and participation rule as its result-specific column. Passing requires a pass attempt and rushing requires a carry, so an absent player is not credited with an under.

Patrick Mahomes: 220+ passing yards (−130)
Mahomes reached 220 passing yards in 10 of 11 Kansas City wins across the two seasons, compared with 15 of 20 passing appearances overall. This season’s split is four of five wins and four of six appearances. The lone winning miss is particularly relevant: those 184 yards against Denver came on 27 attempts, with two passing touchdowns, in the 31–10 win.
The other four current wins produced 382 passing yards against Indianapolis, 246 against Miami, 225 against Las Vegas and 272 against the Chargers. The Las Vegas result explains the appeal of 220 rather than the main over 225.5 at −113. Exactly 225 yards cleared the milestone but missed the main line. Across both seasons, over 225.5 cleared in eight of 11 wins and 13 of 20 appearances; this season, it cleared in three of five wins.
That lower target costs a heavier price. Moving lower again to 180+ at −377 would retain the earlier Denver win and cover all 11 wins in the longer sample, with 18 clears in 20 appearances overall. Its much larger price asks the reader to pay for a threshold below every observed winning total. The 220 milestone offers a middle choice, while leaving a demonstrated winning route uncovered.
Mahomes’ latest game supplies the other side of the comparison: 165 passing yards on 33 attempts in the 20–3 loss to Seattle. Attempts alone did not deliver the yardage target. His expected starting role and receiving options including Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce support evaluating the passing market, but they do not resolve whether Sunday resembles the earlier Denver win or the higher-yardage wins.
Kenneth Walker III: 18+ carries (−170)
Walker has carried at least 18 times in each of Kansas City’s five wins this season, compared with five of his six Chiefs rushing appearances overall. The winning totals were 23 carries against Denver, 24 against Indianapolis, 18 against Miami, 22 against Las Vegas and 19 against the Chargers. This is a current-club sample of only six games; his earlier Seattle performances are not pooled into the Kansas City record.
DraftKings’ 16+ carries at −300 covered exactly the same five wins and five appearances overall. Paying that heavier price buys two fewer required carries, but it would not add a historical clear in this sample. The main over 19.5 at −102 goes the other way: it cleared in three of five wins and three of six appearances, losing the Miami and Chargers wins.
Those two wins also show why carry volume deserves its own analysis. Walker gained 70 yards on 18 carries against Miami and 128 yards on 19 carries against the Chargers. Both met this workload target despite very different production per carry. The earlier Denver game, with 23 carries for 173 yards, comfortably cleared it too.
His latest outing was the miss: 14 carries for 36 yards in the Seattle loss. Walker is the expected lead back, with Emmett Johnson listed behind him and Brashard Smith on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Five winning examples leave little history for judging his workload. Reaching 18 carries depends on how Kansas City distributes its possessions and backfield work.
Bo Nix: under 4.5 carries (−126)
Nix finished with at most four carries in four of five Denver losses across the two seasons, an exact 80.0% hit rate. He did so in 13 of 25 rushing appearances overall. The current losing examples were three carries for two yards against Kansas City and two carries for 10 yards against San Francisco. Both cleared this under.
The longer sample adds a meaningful exception. Nix ran eight times for 33 yards in Denver’s 23–20 loss to the Chargers on September 21, 2025. A Broncos loss can still bring substantial quarterback rushing volume; the five-loss sample should not be mistaken for a reliable limit on future carries.
Nor is the under unique to losses. Nix also finished with four carries in this season’s wins over the Rams, Chargers and Seahawks. Together with the two losses, that gives the under five clears in seven current appearances. His latest game went the other way: seven carries for 73 yards and a rushing touchdown in the 30–16 win over Arizona.
DraftKings also quoted over 4.5 carries at −101. That side cleared in one of the five losses and 12 of 25 appearances overall, including two of seven appearances this season. Nix is the expected starter; Jaylen Waddle’s questionable chest status and Garett Bolles’ questionable hip status do not establish an absence or a predetermined change in his rushing duties.
Choose the requirement that fits your Kansas City view
Walker’s 18 carries fit a view built around sustained work for Kansas City’s lead back. Mahomes’ 220 yards require more passing production than the earlier Denver win delivered. Nix’s under limits Denver quarterback carry volume, yet its current clears span both wins and losses. Kansas City’s passing and rushing opportunities can also compete with one another. Use the separate prices, margins and counterexamples to choose the requirement that fits your view. If combining any options with Kansas City to win, check the sportsbook’s actual same-game parlay quote and the latest team news; the individual prices do not establish the combined price.
