Grayson Allen made seven threes and Dennis Schroder handed out seven assists in Charlotte’s latest game. The Hornets still lost 109–104 to Philadelphia, while Naz Reid finished with five rebounds. It’s a useful starting point for Monday’s rematch with Detroit: some supporting contributions have survived Charlotte defeats, while Reid’s bigger rebounding nights have appeared more consistently in its wins.
For these Hornets parlay picks, start with a hypothetical Charlotte win at Spectrum Center on November 2, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Eastern. the saved Monday morning DraftKings snapshot quoted the Hornets at +173. Schroder’s passing, Allen’s shooting and Reid’s rebounding offer three different contributions to consider alongside that premise.
Each player’s record below covers all seven of his Charlotte appearances, including all three Hornets wins. That is a small opening sample, not a forecast. The point is to compare the contributions and their prices, without assuming that three perfect winning-game records make a perfect combination. Individual DraftKings prices were checked November 2 at 10:49–10:50 a.m. EST and can change.
Supporting options for a Hornets win
The conditional column uses Charlotte wins; the all-game column includes the same player’s Hornets appearances regardless of the result. Previous-team games are excluded so the records describe each player’s work with Charlotte.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dennis Schroder over 4.5 assists Charlotte · all seven appearances |

+126 | 100.0% 3 of 3 Hornets wins |

Dennis Schroder: over 4.5 assists (−146)
Schroder has produced at least five assists in all three Charlotte wins and six of seven appearances overall. His winning totals were six against Brooklyn, five against Miami and five against Washington. Two of those wins therefore landed exactly on the five assists needed to beat a 4.5 line.
The saved over 4.5 assists quote is −146. The four-assist milestone costs −334 and has the same three-of-three winning record and six-of-seven all-game record in this sample. Moving to six assists pays +134, but leaves only one of three Charlotte wins and three of seven appearances. Five assists preserves both narrow winning clears while avoiding the heavier cost of four.
The latest games support his passing contribution even when Charlotte falls short. Schroder had five assists in the previous Detroit meeting, eight in the loss at Washington and seven against Philadelphia. Those came in 34, 29 and 35 minutes. His only miss was three assists in 20 minutes against Atlanta, which keeps playing time central to this option.
His three wins involved 35, 38 and 36 minutes, workloads that should not be treated as fixed for Monday. Coby White is projected to start at point guard, while Schroder is listed among the bench guards. White has no appearance in the current-season history used here, so the recent Schroder sample doesn’t establish what his minutes will be with that projected guard rotation. The six-of-seven baseline is useful support; it doesn’t remove the need for enough opportunities to create those five baskets.
Grayson Allen: 2+ threes (−199)
Allen has made at least two threes in all three Charlotte wins and six of seven appearances overall. He hit five against Brooklyn, four against Miami and two in the win over Washington. The two-threes target does not require him to repeat Saturday’s seven against Philadelphia.
At −199, this is the shortest price in the table. Three threes pays +142, but has cleared in only two of three Hornets wins and four of seven appearances. The two-threes line preserves the Washington win and two additional all-game clears. That is the historical margin bought by the shorter price, rather than proof that the price is favorable.
The recent sequence contains both sides of the risk. Allen made two threes in 30 minutes in last Wednesday’s loss to Detroit, then one in 21 minutes at Washington, before the seven-threes night in 30 minutes against Philadelphia. The Washington miss is his only one below this target with Charlotte. It shows why the latest shooting surge should not be read as a new floor.
Allen is projected as a bench guard, with his seven Hornets appearances ranging from 20 to 34 minutes. The winning record has covered both big shooting nights and a game that cleared exactly two. Choosing this route means backing a modest contribution from his three-point shooting, while accepting that a smaller shift or a cold night can still break it.
Naz Reid: 9+ rebounds (+126)
Reid’s nine-rebound target has cleared in all three Charlotte wins, with totals of 11, nine and 12. His all-game record is much less forgiving: four of seven appearances. Compared with the two guard options, the early pattern is more concentrated in Hornets victories, but it rests on the same three wins.
The +126 price offers the plus-money route. Eight rebounds costs −130 and has exactly the same three-of-three winning record and four-of-seven all-game record in this Charlotte sample. Ten rebounds pays +199, but drops the Miami win, when Reid finished with nine, leaving two of three wins and three of seven appearances. Nine is the highest of those offered targets that preserves all three winning clears.
Saturday’s five rebounds against Philadelphia is the most relevant recent warning. Reid played 36 minutes, so that miss cannot be explained by a short shift alone. His other misses were six rebounds in 25 minutes against Atlanta and six in just 13 minutes in the previous Detroit game. He also collected 11 in 31 minutes in the loss at Washington, showing that the target can land without a Hornets win.
Reid is projected to start at power forward. Charlotte lists Grant Williams and Kon Knueppel out, and Detroit is without Jalen Duren; those absences matter to the rotations, but they do not guarantee Reid more rebounds. His 13-minute Detroit appearance is part of the comparison, not a workload to assume will repeat. The appeal is the three winning clears at plus money; the five-rebound latest game is the reason to keep that small sample in perspective.
Choose the contribution behind your Charlotte view
Schroder’s assists and Allen’s threes have each cleared in six of seven Hornets appearances, including useful contributions in defeats. Reid’s rebound option offers a bigger payout with a weaker all-game record and a fresh miss in a long shift. That difference gives you a choice between contributions that have held up across results and one that has tracked Charlotte’s first three wins more closely.
All three options share Charlotte’s rotation and the same game, so their historical rates cannot be multiplied into a joint success probability. Schroder’s role alongside the projected starting point guard is particularly relevant before using the passing option.
