Zach LaVine made five threes and handed out one assist in Sacramento’s win at Dallas. If you’re backing the Kings against San Antonio, that performance suggests two different questions: can he keep making shots from deep, or will his passing stay below three assists?
These Kings parlay picks compare those two LaVine options in Sacramento wins with his full Kings record across the previous and current regular seasons. Sacramento has won only once in eight games this season, so the longer view supplies more than that single result. Each option cleared in eight of ten winning appearances, and both depend on the same player’s role and minutes.
Kings parlay picks: two ways to look at Zach LaVine
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zach LaVine Over 2.5 made threes |
+115 | 80.0% 8 of 10 SAC wins |
48.9% 23 of 47 appearances |
| Zach LaVine Under 2.5 assists |
−139 | 80.0% 8 of 10 SAC wins |
53.2% 25 of 47 appearances |
Zach LaVine: over 2.5 made threes
LaVine’s shooting is the more visible part of Sacramento’s recent case. He has made at least three threes in seven of his eight appearances this season, including three in the earlier loss to San Antonio. That gives the +115 offer recent support beyond the one Kings win.
There hasn’t always been much room to spare: six of those seven successful games ended with exactly three makes. His only current-season miss came at Memphis, when he had no threes in twenty-one minutes. The latest game went the other way—three makes in thirty-five minutes against the Lakers.
The longer Sacramento record is less consistent and includes last season’s supporting cast. Across the previous and current regular seasons, he reached three makes in 23 of 47 appearances overall. Two of his ten Kings wins ended with just one three each. The +115 price offers the larger individual payout here, but you’re still asking for a shooting night that was much less common over that full stretch than it has been this season.
Zach LaVine: under 2.5 assists
The assist under follows a quieter contribution from the same player. LaVine has finished with one assist in each of his last three games, playing twenty-one, twenty-eight and thirty-five minutes. The Dallas win is in that group, but the latest Lakers loss shows that a full night on the floor can also end below this line.
At −139, the under returns less profit for the same stake if it wins than the threes over. It also has a different recent limit: LaVine stayed below three assists in only four of eight games this season, compared with 25 of 47 Sacramento appearances across the two regular seasons. He had three assists in the earlier Spurs meeting, which would miss this under even though his three makes would clear the other option.
Both misses in the longer winning-game record also finished at three assists. That leaves little cushion when he does more playmaking. He’s expected to start at shooting guard again; the argument is about how he contributes, not an expectation that he’ll spend the night on the bench.

Choose the LaVine contribution you want to follow
The threes over fits a view that LaVine’s recent shooting continues, with a plus-money payout and several games landing right on three. The assist under suits a view that he’ll finish possessions more often than set them up. You can choose one without taking both. Their separate records don’t establish a combined chance of success, and a sportsbook can adjust the price of related legs.
