Red Wings Parlay Picks vs. Lightning: Side & Support Parlay Plays

Detroit scored four goals in its October win over San Jose, and Lucas Raymond had a hand in none of them. He’s usually been on the scoresheet when the Red Wings win, but that game shows what you’re asking for when you add his point prop to a Detroit pick.

DraftKings listed Detroit at +215 against Tampa Bay. The two player options approach scoring from opposite sides of the matchup: a point for Raymond at −130 or a night without a point for Anthony Cirelli at −145.

Two scoring markets for a Detroit-win scenario

A goal or an assist counts as a point. The table compares Raymond’s record in Detroit wins and Cirelli’s record in Tampa Bay losses with each player’s full same-club sample.

Lucas Raymond 1+ point (−130)

Raymond recorded a point in 39 of 46 Detroit wins and 60 of 95 appearances overall. This season he’s done it in five of seven Detroit wins and eight of 15 games overall. He had two assists against Edmonton and scored without an assist against Chicago before setting up a goal against Florida.

Raymond is projected to skate alongside Andrew Copp and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard. A Detroit win can still leave him off the scoresheet. He played 20:02 in the October win over San Jose and finished without a point despite the Red Wings scoring four goals.

At −130, this is the lower-priced player offer. It fits a Detroit-win view that gives Raymond a role in the scoring. If you expect Detroit’s scoring to run through his line, either a goal or an assist gets him there.

Anthony Cirelli under 0.5 points (−145)

Cirelli finished without a point in 28 of 35 Tampa Bay losses and 53 of 91 games overall. He has gone without one in all five of his losing appearances this season and eight of 13 games overall. In Saturday’s loss to Nashville, he played 18:33 without a goal or assist.

He’s projected to center Brandon Hagel and Gage Goncalves. His goal and two assists against Winnipeg in the game before Nashville show how much offense can come through that spot. One goal or setup would be enough to beat the under, and seven losses in his longer sample still included a point.

At −145, the loss rate is exactly 80%. This option fits a Detroit-win view that includes keeping Cirelli’s line quiet, though his two latest games show how differently he can contribute.

Which scoring role fits the game you expect?

The prices are close. If you expect Raymond’s line to drive Detroit’s scoring, his point is the cheaper option. If you expect Detroit to contain Cirelli’s line, remember that one goal or assist from him beats the under even if Tampa Bay loses.
