New Orleans’ bench offers two places to look if you’re backing the Pelicans against Minnesota. Saddiq Bey pulled down four rebounds and Derik Queen handed out six assists in the latest win over Utah. Both have reached their current targets in each of the Pelicans’ four wins this season, without needing to start those games.
These Pelicans parlay picks compare Bey’s boards and Queen’s passing in New Orleans wins with their full season so far. There’s also a different route through Minnesota: Ayo Dosunmu’s assist under in Timberwolves losses. Side & Support uses your chosen winner to guide that comparison, leaving you to choose the player contribution that fits.
Pelicans parlay picks: a bench contribution or an opposing under
The table covers current-team appearances in the 2026–27 regular season. The perfect rows come from only four New Orleans wins or three Minnesota losses; the recent games and longer records help put them in perspective.
| Player & prop | Odds | With this result | All games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saddiq Bey Over 3.5 rebounds |
−148 | 100.0% 4 of 4 NO wins |
75.0% 6 of 8 appearances |
| Derik Queen Over 2.5 assists |
−134 | 100.0% 4 of 4 NO wins |
50.0% 4 of 8 appearances |
| Ayo Dosunmu Under 4.5 assists |
−116 | 100.0% 3 of 3 MIN losses |
66.7% 6 of 9 appearances |
Saddiq Bey: over 3.5 rebounds
Bey’s winning rebound totals have been four, six, five and four. The latest four came in 29 minutes against Utah; the first came in 24 minutes against Sacramento. You’re asking for four again at −148, the most expensive individual offer in this group, and two of those wins left no extra rebound to spare.
There’s a longer New Orleans pattern behind this one. Across the previous and current regular seasons, Bey reached four rebounds in 27 of 28 wins and 63 of 80 appearances overall. It isn’t just a four-game perfect record. The lone winning miss in that longer stretch was a one-rebound game in 33 minutes in March.
His current-season losses include a more recent warning: zero boards in 26 minutes against Denver, after three in the one-point loss at Utah. Bey has still been productive from the bench, but minutes alone haven’t guaranteed the rebounds. He’s expected to remain a reserve in this matchup.
Derik Queen: over 2.5 assists
Queen’s passing has climbed through the four Pelicans wins: three assists against Sacramento, four against Atlanta, five at Memphis and six against Utah. Those came in 22 to 27 minutes off the bench. The −134 offer asks for three, giving you a way to back that recent playmaking without requiring another six-assist night.
The losses looked different. Queen recorded one, two, two and one assists in New Orleans’ first four games. His playing time reached 29 minutes in one of them, so this isn’t simply a case of getting enough floor time. The larger New Orleans record is also less consistent: 21 of 30 wins and 55 of 89 appearances across the previous and current regular seasons reached three assists. The current winning streak is the attraction, rather than a proven long-term rate at this line.
Yves Missi is out with a knee injury, while Queen is currently expected to come off the bench. That frontcourt context matters, but the case here rests on Queen’s actual passing production, not an assumed promotion to the starting lineup.
Ayo Dosunmu: under 4.5 assists
Dosunmu lets you approach a Pelicans win from the other side. He finished with zero assists at Cleveland, four against Golden State and three at San Antonio in Minnesota’s losses. The last two came in 32 and 38 minutes, so he stayed below five even during substantial playing time. The under is priced at −116.
His latest two games make the decision less comfortable: eight assists against Milwaukee, then six at Houston, both Minnesota wins. Those aren’t small misses, and his earlier ten-assist game at Orlando is another reminder of what his passing can produce. Minnesota is missing Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo, so the current backcourt context deserves more attention than a perfect three-loss row alone.
The longer Minnesota record does offer support: he finished with four or fewer assists in 11 of 12 losses and 25 of 33 appearances across the previous and current regular seasons. The exception among those losses was an eight-assist game in 38 minutes in March. You get the lighter price here compared with the two Pelicans overs, while taking on the risk that Dosunmu’s recent passing carries into a Minnesota defeat.

Choose the role that fits your Pelicans view
For a view built around New Orleans’ bench, the useful distinction is the longer record versus the recent passing run. Bey’s four-rebound target has held up across far more Pelicans wins; Queen asks you to back the current playmaking at a lighter price. You can choose which contribution matters more to your view without taking both. Both depend on New Orleans’ bench rotation, and their separate records don’t establish a combined success rate.
